Hi Theodora, it’s so frustrating when our bodies don’t co-operate! Especially when you have been putting in the effort and not seeing the results you desire. Hope your whoosh happens this week, to give you something positive to work with. Good luck!

on 28 Jan 2017 at 14:24 in Welcome to the BSDOn the subject of salt and exercise, a small spoon of taramasalata does it for me. Very salty stuff if you like the fishy flavour.
Day going well for me so far – hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
Done my running in sleet and fog. It was strangely beautiful though with so much water coursing through the streams. Awaiting my reward of a hot bath and will see how the braised pheasant turns out later. So impressed by all the strong support here.

on 28 Jan 2017 at 14:07 in Welcome to the BSDNot doing too well on this 28 day challenge so far and attaining my goal of a loss of 3.6kg is looking less and less likely (holiday to contend with in the middle of the challenge too!)
Five days in and my scales are reading exactly the same, so no loss at all so far, and feeling a little discouraged, particularly as the tape measure around my waist is also reading the same, and I have been really really strict, and adhered to BSD800 100%, and actually often only about 700calories, and averaging 27g of carbs.
Have increased my water intake this week in the hope it would help, but so far the only result is to send me running to the loo with monotonous regularity π Am desperately hoping for a whoosh this week, as next weekend I go away for 10 days and will face all sorts of temptations, which will be far more difficult to resist if I feel BSD is stalling π
Oh well, for the moment I guess I will just have to keep on keeping on – but to achieve my goal, I now need a loss of 1.2kg a week for the next 3 weeks!!!

on 28 Jan 2017 at 13:55 in Welcome to the BSDWell done MissFreddieSD, you are doing really well.
Sadly, and much to my consternation, after a really good first week (loss of 3.6kg), this week has seen a loss of absolute zilch on the scales, with no reduction in waist measurement either, despite adhering 100% to BSD800 (and often a lot less than 800, and carbs averaging only 27g) π My weigh in day is Monday but I cannot imagine I will lose anything over the weekend! Feeling discouraged. π
I know everyone hits a plateau, just wasn’t expecting to hit one quite so soon. I’ve increased my water intake this week in the hope it would help, but all that seems to do is make me want to spend a penny every 15mins!!
π π πI have one more week before I go away for 10 days (now THAT will be a challenge) so desperate to get things moving again, otherwise I just KNOW I will succumb to temptation whilst away.

I’d forgotten about kale crisps. Going to whiz up a batch this weekend. Will give parmesan crisps a go too. Thanks for the recos.
4 weeks in and 14lbs down of a 40lb goal. Hadn’t expected to loose anything, or perhaps gain, following an altercation with a (large) bag of Maltesers and too much cheese but dropped 1lb this week. So delighted that January has been a good start.
I was amazed how rubbish I felt the morning after the Maltesers and how quickly your body gets used to not having sugar and carbs. Like a hangover. Urgghh.
Well done Team January!

Natalie, I would love to join you but I, and my entire family, always give up chocolate for Lent anyway, and I have given it up early this year (16th Jan) to do BSD, but I will cheer you on from the sidelines. Go girl.

Hi Dreamscometrue – well done on your progress so far. Could I suggest to help you along the way and to give a sense of achievement, why not consider setting some mini-goals, rather than aiming purely for the ultimate goal straight off. Lots of us are using this tactic to give us something that feels imminently attainable to aim for, so that any blips along the way don’t feel as huge. Maybe your first one could be to drop those 6lb to get to 11st, or perhaps to get to the sub 11st mark. Mine at the moment to get to 9st (started out at 10st 11lb at just 5ft 1 and a size 14/16) I an getting very close and with luck might crack it within the next week. Once there, I’ll set the next mini-goal to get to 8st 11lb.
Anyway, just a suggestion. Hope you continue to see good results and that you will let us all know how you are getting on by posting your results.

on 28 Jan 2017 at 11:54 in Welcome to the BSDEnd of week 2 and a 3lb loss making -9lbs in two weeks so very happy with that and 3 1/2 inches off my waist. whoop whoop. Feeling very well, amazed that despite the high protein low carb I don’t feel hungry that’s really a change from other “low fat” type diets. This week I had full fat greek yogurt for breakfast with nuts and raspberries ( only 3 chopped) but I think I will go back to porridge next week. If anyone has the recipe book, I can recommend the pork steak in mustard sauce, had it last Friday and again last night its so delicious. the crΓ¨me freche and wwholegrain mustard on the pork with steamed kale and some asparagus, omg so tasty diet what diet !!!!. This week I am going to try the fried steak with sugar snap peas and asparagus. And salmon with coconut and the stir fried prawn and tuna so more fish this week. My food cupboard is certainly changing with jars of spices, one thing I am going to do this week is to completely empty the cupboard take out all those things lurking in the background like the bag of flour, the pasta and the other carb filled naughty things and turn it into a feast of delights to make this diet oh so tasty, the recipes are so tasty it sure does help. Bring on the cauliflower rice π have a good week and one thing I have learnt this week is to drink more water.

I find that if I don’t make a song and I’m-on-a-diet-can’t-eat-that kind of dance about food most people don’t even notice what I’m not eating, or care for that matter. I discovered the M&S protein pots during my Christmas travels, well done Marks’s!
I totally get the alcohol after effects. I cannot tolerate it like I used to… one glass of wine has me swinging from the chandeliers these days and two glasses would probably see me singing Show Me The Way To Go Home from under the table π At least I’m a cheap date…. anyone? Ha ha!
Getting active has come slowly to me too, but I want to get fit enough to be able to come off my Blood Pressure meds altogether, so I have a great incentive.

on 28 Jan 2017 at 11:34 in Fast 800Hiya Daisiesmum,
Thank you for the kind words, my new normal eating habits are so easy and enjoyable so that was why I was surprised when I gave in to temptation!
I see your point about giving up baking and partly agree… It is my passion and something that I truly excel at (blowing own trumpet sorry!) I have been asked to make wedding cakes, birthday cakes and anniversary cakes etc. – all types really. There is nothing better than presenting a cake that has taken hours of your life baking and decorating to someone on their special day and seeing the eyes light up! And then those little “hmm’s ahhh’s and mmmmm’s ” when they eat it, ha ha!
Giving up my Cake Baker title might make me resent the 800cal diet a little too much when really I should be working on resisting the temptations that are simply part of life I guess. Seeing as Baking will always be part of my life all I need to do is learn to say “no Thankyou” to my temptations not my passion.
Well done on becoming a strong person who can say NO when they are not comfortable, it is inspiring π x

on 28 Jan 2017 at 11:02 in BSD Way of LifeMorning all. So last night dinner with work was OK. I ate too much portion wise but didn’t touch the carby food. Wasn’t tempted. Was asked once about not eating the rice. I said just don’t fancy it and the conversation moved on. Dessert placed in front of me so I ate the strawberry and that was it! Having not had any alcohol since December I treated myself to a cider which lasted a long time. Also 3 glasses of wine. Oh how my head hurts this morning. Had plenty of water but still don’t feel good. Breakfast this morning I avoided at the hotel but picked up a protein pot in M&S, 2 eggs and spinach. I couldn’t believe that options like this existed! (I live in the west of Ireland and don’t have an M&S anywhere close). Had a bit of a walk around London. Trying to get myself active. It’s something I really struggle with for no other reason other than I can’t seem to get motivated.
Good luck everyone over the weekend. You make me feel I’m not alone on this journey. -
Dear Ebs, Parmesan crisps are made same way as in a conventional oven. A bit of trial and error till you get it right, and maybe fewer at a time, but much quicker. Good luck

on 28 Jan 2017 at 10:35 in Fast 800Hi libbyohno, hope you don’t mind me chipping in. Well done on your excellent progress and your speedy return to your new normal eating!
I don’t think I can better the excellent advice given by trelawny or sunshinegirl, but a thought crossed my mind as I read your original post. You describe yourself as the office’s designated cake-baker; if you are seriously planning to follow a low carb high fat lifestyle it might be worth considering finding a diplomatic way of passing that mantle on, or just removing it from your own shoulders. One of the MOST empowering things I have gained from doing BSD is learning to say no, or to politely decline things that don’t fit in with my new normal. It is very out of character for me, but I found my voice about 2-3 months in to following BSD. I’ve realised “No thank you” is a very powerful phrase -doh!
Wishing you every success with continuing on BSD, well done for picking yourself up π

on 28 Jan 2017 at 10:17 in Welcome to the BSDKrysia, I have had exactly the same thought about salt. To the extent that I’ve even had a salt crystal or two instead of nuts and found that dealt with it. And every now and then I get a craving for leafy greens – cabbage, spinach and broccoli. Mr Snoop came home with a pack of bargain caramel panna cottas yesterday. I had one to keep him happy, but I won’t eat any of the others. Far too sweet.
Will record this here as it’ll keep me on the straight and narrow this weekend (out for lunch on Sunday…): weigh-in this morning read 78.5 kg, so down 1.3 kg since Tuesday. Very good going for me and perhaps not ‘real’ as it represents a drop of 600 g since yesterday!

on 28 Jan 2017 at 09:35 in Fast 800Morning,
I did weigh myself, and have gone down (only by a small 0.7 lbs) but it was not what I expected, especially after feeling so bloated and sluggish yesterday.
Suffering to from what I can only describe as a Carb Hangover! Feeling tired, Belly Aching and Irritable!
Sunshine Girl, I did not have time to make scrambled eggs this morning but decided to opt for 2 x Hard Boiled Eggs instead which I have brought with me to work today :). I have not felt hungry enough to face breakfast yet and in honestly feel so rotten I don’t want anything! But at least they are there if I need them.
I am also giving my body a helping hand with a Diuretic and lots of plain water! That should ease any water retention from over eating!
Now the panic is over I am even more determined. I will be going over the recipe book today and making photocopies of the meals lowest in Carbs/Cals so the best option meals are to hand when ever I need them.
Tomorrow I am batch cooking Mushroom Soup, Hungarian Goulash, Simple Bolognese and meatballs in Tomato sauce.
Have a fabulous weekend!! x

on 28 Jan 2017 at 09:14 in Welcome to the BSDSome interesting posts here. A reminder about planning ahead – it would never occur to make the OH’s lunchtime sanwiches in bulk and freeze them, but it means no bread in the house – result! Thanks Jules. Some encouragement and inspiration from Lara – 16 kg in 16 weeks is awesome, and a reminder from Inka of something that was continually reiterated on the low carb forum I followed for a few years. Weight loss is not linear, and results aren’t instant. In fact, we always used to reckon that the whoosh fairy followed us around a week late. So all will be well in time, I’m sure. When we’re doing the right thing, we’ get our reward in the end.
Off into town with a big charity bag and to buy an emergency pair of work trousers as mine fell down yesterday and a work colleague said ‘we’ve all wondered when you’d bite the bullet and GET RID – now you’ll have to! ‘They’re the last pair that ‘fit’ – and I use the term loosely in every sense, but with another stone and a half to lose it’ll just be a couple of pairs of cheapies to see me through the winter, then I’ll spring from my chubby chrysalis in April with a proper shopping spree. Can’t wait! Happy weekend everyone. MKx

on 28 Jan 2017 at 08:37 in BSD Way of LifeOh Bissell, walking with the fairies, what a beautiful image to start my day π Before I went to bed last night, without realising, I found myself planning a long walk for today. I usually do a Saturday trip to the local convenience store (5 mins walk each way) but yesterday evening I caught myself mentally calculating that if I walk to the superstore, passing other “local” versions on the way I could extend my walk to about an hour… not exactly glamorous I know, and nowhere near as romantic as a walk in the clouds with the fairies, but hey… you have to start somewhere!
Norfolkgal – I just re-read your post about your trip to the Caribbean. I have a few family connections in Jamaica, so am always interested to hear where people are going. What a delightful treat you have awaiting your return! One of my friends has a gorgeous black poodle, I have been known to borrow her from time to time for a doggy walk!
My weight was back to a smidge below my target this morning, so I’m happy with that. I haven’t been tempted by sugary carbs on the whole, but I did have a TINY (30g) bite of fruit cake the other day, I can’t say I particularly enjoyed it which is amazing because previously I could devour an entire fruit cake in a couple of days. It may only be coincidental but a day or so later I had diarrhoea. I have been avoiding gluten as I have a suspicion that I am a bit sensitive to it due to an auto immune condition. Like others I no longer enjoy the sluggish feeling high carb induces and don’t want to take that risk.
I hope everyone has a very enjoyable BSD friendly day. I shall be out for my walk later, despite the rain. Who was it that said “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad levels of protective clothing” ? Well, I’ve got all the gear and some idea π Happy BSDing!

on 28 Jan 2017 at 08:37 in BSD Way of LifeBissell – we have two Labradors and have also noticed the inclines are easier and I can also walk much faster. There must be so much more stuff that is improving but we can’t see it or measure it.
My feeling is that on maintenance the scales will move up and down a bit and that’s probably what happens to someone who has never dieted and has always been slim. I don’t actually know that – but it does seem likely.
I have decided to keep between 9 stone 4lbs and 9stone 6lbs and take action if it looks like I will go higher or lower. It seems to be working brilliantly. 0.4lb doesn’t seem a big variation and might be caused by a number of things like water retention or slow transit.
I have accepted that I may have to enter food on fat secret and weigh the high calorie stuff for at least a while longer. If I suddenly and magically find I can judge the calories in a lump of cheddar and remember what I have eaten earlier in the day so I can calculate it in my head – I can stop weighing and logging. I know people can do that but I do wonder if they are the same people who can also judge the width of their car and can reverse into a small space.
I do hold out hope that one day I will be able to do that even though I have failed dismally for the last 40 years.

on 28 Jan 2017 at 08:03 in Starting the BSDHello everyone and happy weekend! Love reading everyone’s news – the successes are really motivating and it’s good that we can post our frustrations too and keep each other going. Well done Michaeljohn for a spectacular start and mumofcrazynamedkids for passing the first stone milestone!
I’ve been on it just over 3 weeks now and have lost 8lb, most of that in the first 10 days then plateauing a bit since then. Though clothes are feeling looser and I think I’m looking a little bit less chunky. But I confess I fell off the wagon last night! I do allow myself a glass of Friday fizz as a treat but how on earth I then came to scoff a load of chocolate is beyond me :@ Anyway, today is another day.
I started the BSD at 12 stone and am now 11st 6lb. I’m wanting to get to well under 10 stone – ideally 9st 7lb – by my birthday at the end of April. I’d hoped to be down to 11 stone by the end of January which now won’t happen but hopefully will hit that in a couple of weeks or so. I reckon even if I just manage a couple of pounds off a week that should see me to my birthday goal. My main goal for this week is to pick up the pace with exercise again as the combination of a nasty cold virus and freezing weather (UK) has rather scuppered that for the last couple of weeks!
Glad you got the book Ebs – lots of lovely recipes in there! There is a recipe for cheesy parmesan biscuits that are indeed great as a crunchy snack: I baked mine in the oven and they only take a few minutes.
Keep going everyone – we’re all in this together!

Hi Julia,
I just put my head to the grind stone and got on with work. The way I see it is, you are not long on the planet. Too soon we all step off it. I don’t want to say… if only.
I want to say .. phew that was fun. They say to treat each day as your last. That sounds too depressing, I would be emptying out my fridge and hoovering only because I don’t want anyone to talk about me when I am gone.
An ambulance man or undertaker could say,… tut tut, Lucia didn’t dust under the spare bedroom bed today !! It will be all over the newspapers. The people reading the newsapapers will say… and she also ate a lot of carbs too!!I would prefer to enjoy my spare time being healthy, active. In fact when was the last time we’ all had a good belly laugh? I have taped Mrs browns boys, google it or find it on you tube. Especially when the actors forget their lines!!
So team, here us a challenge you must do this weekend. You must exercise your chuckle muscles sometime over the weekend.
You are burning calories.
Strengthening muscles not used much
And your mood will soak
And the scientists say it will balance the chemicals in your body.Me? Oh I will be watching Mrs brown around 9:30pm tonight at the same time being on my stepper.
Keep happy, keep laughing, and make sure you have a little bit of fun today.
Now where is that whooopy cushion,,,,,,, I will frighten mr Lucia
Love Lucia

on 28 Jan 2017 at 06:31 in BSD Way of LifeKrystaiD and Daisiesmum, I certainly agree about the walking. As I’ve got a dog I often do the same walks and I notice I can do the inclines easier and walk for further. And quicker! Last week, when all was fog and ice where I live, we drove above the fog a couple of miles and I found part of a forest I’d never been in before. Brilliant emerald green moss covering the floor and perfect blue skies. It was stunning! I wouldnt have been surprised if a fairy skipped in to view!
Still struggling with maintenance though. 0.4 lb up today when I thought I had done so well yesterday. Maybe I just need to accept that I have to weigh everything forever. π -

I have a bus pass also and often used to catch the bus from work to the city centre when I had a long gap between classes. I often waited for 20 minutes for a bus before as it was often late. Daisiesmum – I love walking also and I am doing so much more now. It is lovely walking in the crisp winter air although there were a couple of days last week when it was so cold that I didn’t enjoy my walks at all. I am really feeling that the muscles in my legs are getting stronger and I am sure that the walking is really contributing to my feeling of well-being.

Thank you! I’ve had no other symptoms, but the reduced salt levels could be the trick. I had the light headness in the first week, but that cleared. I have had a sprinkling of salt with my egg at breakfast but I’m thinking it might not be enough. I’ll up the salt and see if it lifts. Thanks so much!

on 28 Jan 2017 at 05:03 in Welcome to the BSDLara – I am finding now as I get less and less scared of eating fats that it is cheese and cream and now and again it is peanut butter – which I wonder is really a salt craving.
Crave is definitely the right word for it but I find 20g of stilton or 2 teaspoons of peanut butter is all it takes to satisfy the craving whereas in pre-BSD days maybe even 1000 calories of the sweet stuff wouldn’t.
I also from time to time get quite strong cravings for mushrooms or kale which is slightly weird.
-
You could be experiencing a lack of salt. Do you have any other symptoms?
Headache, floating spots in your vision and cramping are some I’ve experienced when lacking in salt.
If you’ve been doing this for just over 2 weeks, your body has probably got well and truly into ketosis mode which can mean your salt levels deplete quicker than they used to with the increase in drinking water you’re taking on.
If this is the case, a handful of salted nuts washed down with water is all you’ll need. Before your next walk or exercise session, give it a try to see if you have a bit more zip about you. If it works, all you need to do is have a bag of ready salted nuts in your gym bag for times when you’re short on salt during activity.
Going forward, add a little more salt to your meals and you’ll probably find you don’t need the nuts.
-
In the past I’ve found that dark chocolate isn’t a trigger for me – one square is fine – but milk or flavoured chocolate (like Lindt with raspberries) is. But even if I’m only eating dark, I don’t think the idea of frequent treat foods of any kind is good for my mindset. I’ll re-introduce it later – I think.
Just don’t ask me to give up cheese.

Help! I’ve hit a wall!
I’ve been on the diet for two weeks and three days. Calories have generally been between 800-900 a day. I’ve been going really well energy wise. Exercising pretty much most days with a 40 mins fast paced walk and an hour of yoga. I’ve lost a co siderable amount of weight in that time- though I’m using body measurements, not scales.
Problem is that I’ve hit a wall with my energy levels three days ago. Usually once I start my walk, my energy kicks in and I feel like I move mountains. But last few days, all it does is show me I have very little energy and I’m really struggling to do any sort of exercise. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is happening? -
topcac: your are so wise to only have BSD friendly food in your home. . the blueberries sounded delicious but nothing too damaging. . and lot of great nutrition in them as well! Great swim!! The sauna sounds wonderful too! Here’s to no pits!!!
Angela: Your weight loss although slower than the first go round is awesome. I can’t say the same but am working on my reason’s why I am having difficulty getting myself motivated. All your input about how you are doing it is really helping me think about things.
I too love nuts at the moment but I believe they are way better for us than sugar.PEAK: I got my blood work results back. Not sure these figures will make sense, since they may be different than other parts of the world (you’ll have to let me know) but my A1C was 5.4 % (normal range). I am sooooo happy! My lipid panel was excellent. The only high was the overall cholesterol at 243 (never been that high) but the HDL, LDL, and triglycerides were excellent and I had a ratio of 2.2 which is wonderful. They are not concerned about the high overall cholesterol reading because the other areas were excellent. Yay!
I am so relieved. The BSD seems to working for me.PIT: No pit! Hoping that holds up for a while.
Have a great weekend everyone! I’m going out of a date tonight with my husband. Looking forward to it!
PS. Angela–Two of my granddaughters –our sons daughters–live about 50 miles away in San Mateo (near south San Francisco) and the other two live in North Carolina with our daughter. on 28 Jan 2017 at 00:33 in Welcome to the BSDGood morning all and happy Chinese new year to anyone celebrating. 2017 is the year of the Fire Rooster and according to the Sydney Morning Herald it “augurs well for those prepared to work hard” and “heralds an enterprising and fruitful year, a year of results, achievements. This year we can fulfil all of our dreams”. What a great year for all us BSDers π
My official weigh in this morning was just 2 hairs short of a 20kg reduction in 16 weeks! (Any thoughts on why round numbers are so appealing? π ) The last 4 weeks have been a little less structured for me than my first 8 weeks on the BSD. I did 2 fasts of 4-5 days, and now I seemed to have slipped into a habit of intermittent fasting during the work week (no breakfast or lunch, and a light supper) and then a more “normal” BSD program on the weekends. I think I’m almost doing a reverse 5:2 π My weight loss has generally remained consistent and I’m averaging just under 1kg per week. I find it much harder to fast on the weekends. My food cravings have also completely changed – I now crave fats like peanut butter and cheese and cream. I can (and do π ) eat the peanut butter straight out the jar! The strange thing is that even though I don’t crave sugar, if I start eating something sweet, I don’t want to stop. I’m not even enjoying it much, but it sparks the “eat more more more” reaction. So I know I will always need to be careful of those monster carbs.
Hope everyone is having a great BSD weekend!

Hi Natalie
I decided not to risk even the dark chocolate when I started on the BSD in April last year as I was such a chocoholic!
I still feel to this day that if I were to have even one piece, it would completely set me off to want the whole block and then it would be a downhill slide to putting back all the weight that I’ve lost.
This may not be realistic, but as I have been known to eat a whole box of chocolates to celebrate a previous weight loss, I’d better not chance itπ±
Will happily sit on the sidelines and cheer you on. π
Cheers

on 27 Jan 2017 at 22:45 in BSD Way of LifeI hope everyone had a successful BSD day today. I certainly did, it was my intermittent fasting day so not much food. Having done the weight loss BSD I have come to enjoy that empty feeling and even today with a meal of around 250cals (2 eggs and a few nuts) I felt like I’d over eaten! It was been a real game changer for me to learn that it’s actually quite healthy to fast. In the past one of my concerns when trying to lose weight was “am I eating enough?” fearing the so called starvation mode. I am unlikely to attempt a longer fast due to my medication, but intermittent fasting is a clear winner with me and I have been doing it for over four years.
I found myself with some time on my hands this morning and so decided to go for a walk in the crisp winter air, it was so lovely I didn’t want to stop, so I carried on walking taking in a couple extra small blocks – and that was after I’d already done my HIIT and spent 20 mins on my rebounder!
It’s interesting hearing various strategies, experiences and burgeoning passions; walking used to be a passion of mine, but in recent years I have done less and less, so it was lovely today to reignite the flame.
Keeeeep BSDing!

on 27 Jan 2017 at 22:32 in Welcome to the BSDSo I have no wicked stuff left in the fridge and sandwiches for the family packed lunches are made and in the freezer (they are not a temptation when frozen, out of sight is out of mind). I have excelled myself preparing cauliflower mash with pheasant and spring greens for tomorrow. Reduced counter special – don’t usually buy pheasant so hope it’s okay. Wine and tomatoes in the sauce. Meatball and veg stew made too. Really tiring week so planning is crucial for the weekend meals. A long run planned tomorrow to catch up on exercise after a much busier week than normal. I set this out so I make myself accountable as the temptation is to let the run slip otherwise. Happy weekend fellow BSDers.

Good evening everyone,
Theodora; that seems like a very interesting interpretation of Much Ado….I expect you’ll all remember this for a long time.
Linda: I fasted till 7pm yesterday and it felt ok. After I ate dinner though I didn’t feel good and found sleep difficult so kudos to you for the achievement.
Topcac: congratulations on giving the fridge the cold shoulder!
Jmarie: good news about your daughter and it’s great she has helpful neighbours. I expect you’d love to jump on a plane to see her. 5 granddaughters….how lovely. Do the others live nearby you?
I hope your test results are good. At least the results will be back quickly. My peak for today was that I did an interim weigh in and am down .5kg which means I’m around 4.5kg down since 3rd January…slower than the first round but down is down….
The pit…did the weekly shop and bought a small bag of walnuts, knew I shouldn’t and sure enough I have demolished half of them. Not the worst sin but still I wish I had more control!
Off to bed now. Goodnight all!

Lucia
Hope you had a better day at work today and some nice plans for the weekend. From the forecast it looks like puddle bashing is on the menu up here. -

on 27 Jan 2017 at 22:07 in Welcome to the BSDSunshine-girl – you always give such good advice that I was sure I was you.
JulesMaigret – I feel exactly the same. It is so hard to change long held beliefs. It’s great that your doctor has dropped the idea of statins. The BSD way of eating seems to lower cholesterol as effectively as statins but with no side effects.
Inka13 – an excellent reply from Mixnmatch. Hopefully you will have a whoosh very shortly.

on 27 Jan 2017 at 21:55 in Fast 800You guessed Natalie! In London, on the second floor. I did resist the temptation to slide down the banisters LOL. Lived there 4 years.

on 27 Jan 2017 at 21:42 in BSD Way of LifeI’ll have to get some and have a go. Sounds like I would like it, although it probably isn’t as portable as my squeezy marmite.
