Well… ok. Enjoy your work orgy π I’m going to crack on now for an hour or so. ‘Or so’ being the key words in that sentence… could be three minutes, could be three hundred.

Yeah swooning all over the place. It’s like a scene out of a horror film. Bodies everywhere.

Well done on the shirt win, Timmy π Are all the ladies swooning around you, like that bloke in the Diet Coke ad?
Oh, and you know my graphic description of myself yesterday? Well, my nose is now peeling, so we can amend it to red and white nose.
Yes, you did just read that. No, I don’t want to crap on my screen, I want to do a poo emoticon. But I’m on a PC.
-
Cut and paste this π©π©π©π©

Did I just read that? You want to do a poo on the screen???!!

I became an uncle again for the 14th time this morning (that makes 17 cousins including my 3)
I’m in a shirt today that I had stopped wearing because it was way too tight
2 more weeks until holiday! -
Speak of the devil π
No comment on ‘teat treats’ It’s too early, isn’t it???
-
I so wish I could do decent emoticons on my PC. I want to do a poo. On my screen. That entire sentence needs deleting and starting again.
We will do this Friday like a BOSS, ladies (and gentlemen, if Timmy is in the shadows with his speedos and David Dickenson ‘hue’). And yes, we will have Janey’s early Birthday party.
I had a little success, well two actually earlier this week… a bit cringey (for me anyway). I might have posted about one, I had a bath… no big deal maybe, but my hips weren’t touching the sides of the bath, blocking the bath water from moving about. And, I also managed to cut my own toenails. My absolutely wonderful husband has to cut them and varnish them usually as I just couldn’t bend to do it with all the flab. I did it myself π Which was a good job really as they were starting to get a bit…gnarly. I had feet like a Griffin…

It’s pink as well. Showing that I’m touch with my feminine side or some such tosh

Ha ha ha oooo Timmy, the slim fit Oxford, the ladies are in for a treat πΉπΉππ»ππ»π

A pint of pure water weighs a pound and a quarter. As lucky says, it could just be not going to the loo!
It’s the trend that matters anyway, so long as it’s not another .3 tomorrow and another after that!
Anyway, back to normal conversations of this thread. I’ve got the gun show on display for the ladies in the office today. Wearing a slim fit Oxford shirt that I haven’t work for ages as it used to be popping at the seams! It feels a bit baggy now, apart from around the guns of course π

Hee heeeeeee teat treats, low carb, high protein, satisfaction guaranteed πΉπΉπΉπΉ

‘and at least you know theyβre good teats too’. I cannot explain damn you autocorrect better than that. And the thing is, there is no autocorrect, as I am manually typing this. There is no excuse. Let the filth commence… even if it is accidental.
Tokyo? You missed the ice cream? Go back a page to 29 and read last night’s exchanges! The links and everything are there, and to get a pound off!
-
Oh Eps, that weight gain could be for a multitude of reasons, ranging from being a woman to needing a good poo (sorry, but it’s the truth… as Peter Kay said when discussing slimming clubs ‘A pound? I sh*t a pound!) You can’t go through the rest of your life denying yourself treats or you could crack and REALLY undo all your good work, and at least you know they’re good teats too. I doubt very, very much that it’s anything to do with your crumble. Are you eating enough? Despite hitting the 800 cals regularly? Has your body hit a plateau? Maybe it needs a bit of a kickstart again? I know it’s hard not to be despondant though, but try not to, and I certainly wouldn’t start denying myself. I would definitely finish the crumble. And you must enjoy it, you’ve fancied it for so long. Chin up chookie, it’s a long journey ahead of us, it’s a forever journey for some of us, so these ups and downs will level out π x

Yay to the losses Tokyo, wahooooo.
And Friday happiness.
I’ve learnt a valuable lesson (for the millionth time).. Up .3kg this morning but there you go, no crumble, even BSD adapted for me!!! Especially if not well within 800 calories. Unsurprising I guess!! Wonder does this meAn I can’t ever eat more calories again though??? Scary thoughts. Or maybe too many carbs in rhubarb and two apples.. Though I only had two spoonfuls (your Honour)
Anyway, not to worry, it’ll be a great fridY and Saturday and Sunday and by Monday I’ll have lost again, yes I will!!
Sigh. But no strops anyway, just resignation at very least lππ and calm acceptance at best ππ»ππ»ππ»

Morning Janey! I know, and we’ve both got a day of it ahead of us too! Although yours… what in God’s name, woman?? You haven’t packed yet??? Are you insane? Don’t answer that…
Yep, I’m veering towards the salted caramel too. Not a huge mint ice cream lover, although I was when I was younger. Someone in the reviews said it went lovely with apple crumble and as that’s on the ‘make list’ for poor hubby! I’d imagine that the vanilla would go nicely with a slightly warmed up chocolate cupcake too. This, my friend, could be a gamechanger, you do realise that?
-
My son slept until 0730
My sewing last night resulted in a more wearable shrug π
I’m going to make pancakes in a minute yummy. -
Captain Lynne, I have popped into your clubhouse for a bit of insight and what an inspiration you are. I am only on week 4, 11.5 pounds gone (I don’t like the word ‘lost’ , it sounds like you are trying to find it). Looking forward to my first stone off. I can’t imagine how it feels to be 10 something. Last time I was that weight was 16 years ago.
Please keep posting even when you get to target weight. You are helping us all, even us newbies. -
Gymgirl – this could actually happen in our local Waitrose. You wouldn’t believe what you could find in there when it’s your only supermarket without a bus/car journey lol. Not joking… hehe. But no, even that is too much for me, and I rarely make an effort on ‘normal’ days. How is the back today? I hope you’re resting as much as you can and taking advantage of any help!
Bore da Bissel! Dw i’n siarad Cymraeg π Although I’m bilingual, English is my first language, I was raised with one English and one Welsh parent, and my husband is English as well. I take my hat off to ANYONE learning the language because it is hard, and especially so when you haven’t been learning it from being very, very young. Are you learning via WLPAN? My husband was before a steady stream of ill health (still going 8 years later…). I still can’t remember the right mutations and things… π

Morning all, especially to the rapidly decreasing Tokyo! I’m enjoying breakfast in the garden. When I say enjoying, I’m actually fighting the cat off my yoghurt and berries. She likes a bit of Greek (so to speak!) and likes to muscle in. Busy day ahead. In between purportedly working from home I need to clean up, pack my boy’s stuff for his 2.5 week trip to IW, get ready for my weekend away, take said boy to barbers (otherwise my dad will tell me he looks scruffy) and BAKE THE CAKE. Oh and find my pot of Oppo! Salted caramel had my name on it. No hissy fits today anyone – it’s going to MTF (Major Triumph Friday) ππΌππππ°π
-
Morning all! First and foremost…
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy Tokyo, well done! See, I knew you wouldn’t have blown it because even though you ate more, you ate sensibly! You’ll definitely, definitely have your first goal by next week (are you sticking to Friday or going back to Thursday?) if not already by your cheeky mid week weigh in! You’re so, so close now! Inch loss is incredible too, if not more impressive than the kilo loss tbh, 7 from waist? I bet that’s taken you down a good couple of trouser/skirt sizes?
I will be round and about today yes, I need to bake a batch of cupcakes (get me!) and I’ve also promised my son he could make his favourite lemon drizzle cake (Tana Ramsay’s, definitely NOT BSD legal…) and of course, I need to pop to Waitrose for some OPPO… aside from that I am here circulating, with a duster in one hand, a rubbish bag in another, and a brush shoved… under my arm π It’s a nice and cool one today and I weigh the same as yesterday which I’m thrilled at as I still worry it could be some sort of fluke lol. Here’s to a better Friday than last! More ‘For the Win! Friday’ than ‘Epic Fail Friday’ today please, everyone! Let the double intendres begin! (Where’s Timmy…)
Huge well done again Tokyo π

I’m not too often hungry so it isn’t a big problem, nuts won’t spike the blood sugar. I love almond milk and use it most days for my breakfast shake π You sound very disciplined and I’m sure you will do well on this diet! I don’t do the long fasting thing as I like my breakfast too much! I also have issues with dizziness so I shouldn’t go too long without food really. usually dinner is done by 6-7, and I don’t often eat after that but we do ocasionally have our dinner later. Breakfast on work days is 0630, fri-sun, it’s later. I know if I was a little more disciplined or willing to fast longer that my results might be faster, but I’m happy with it being slower (for now anyway)
I’m really viewing this as a change of lifestyle for me so having 3 meals and occasional snacks makes it sustainable, as does baking with almond flour and trying different lots of new things.
I’ve lost weight pretty much every week for 12 weeks, I don’t recall even staying the same although I may have done and forgotten! Some weeks are only 1/2lb but it’s going down and I find this so easy so to continue is also easy!
So here we are on Friday and I’m snuggled with my son for our gentler start to the day, pondering the day ahead and remembering some very strange dreams! There was a weird one with 2 colleagues that I only remember snippets of, and one where I didn’t turn up for work as I was taking my daughter to a psychiatrist lol, and then I was working in a shopping mall. I don’t usually remember as much but I think I just dozed since my husband left for work.
Today I might wear my newly taken in top and my shrug with the longer arms π
I also got some new work uniform. My tops were too baggy so I ordered smaller ones (they fit) and some of you may remember me complaining about my trousers- when they are either loose or tight the zip falls down! so the ones I’m wearing currently are 2 sizes smaller than where I started, and they are past the perfect window, they aren’t really too big yet but the zip is falling down so I ordered a size smaller again. I tried them on and although they are too tight they do go on and fasten so I’m not far from being able to wear them. I only ordered one pair and I will make do as I know I will need to go down in size again down the line. BSD gives me the confidence that it will happen π I don’t have to pay for my work clothes but I don’t want to order too much either, I know my manager won’t worry about the odd restock but if he saw me ordering 2 pairs every month or two he would be asking. Having said that I doubt he would mind as our employer does promote improving our own health.
I might make some almond flour pancakes today as I haven’t had any in a while. I’m making toad in the hole for the kids and cauli pizza for myself and my husband for dinner. Not sure about lunch but I will think of something at the time.
Right I best go and amuse my son, have a lovely day π

No chance of that she’s very damaged, we have to treat her like a handicapped person, and she’s 6 so we have reached the extent of the modification in her behaviour . It was my mistake didn’t allow for the unexpected stress for her. We have used a dog whisperer in the past. So we know how to deal with her. Took my mind of eating for a while, hehe hope you have a good day

Week 2
Day 5BMI: 28.3
Weight: 17 Stone 7 Pound (111Kg) -
Hi starcyl. Please don’t be disheartened, although I know how you feel. It’s like you are doing pretty much everything you are supposed to be doing , so why is it not working. I too found week 3 showing no weight loss. I was hovering at 10-11 pound loss. Then yesterday I really upped my water intake (that’s all I did differently). Whether it was that or just that the low calories finally started to shift something, but I was down a pound today. I know what the scales say shouldn’t affect my mood but it certainly helps when you see them move in the right direction.
Hang in there and good luck with the work do. Let us know how you get on. After all, we are in this for the long haul. -

on 22 Jul 2016 at 08:04 in Fast 800Hi Both,
You are both doing so well, and it is lovely to read about your goals and perseverance.
My news isn’t as positive the scales haven’t shifted at all. On a positive note I have noticed a change in shape and I am back fitting into a pair of jeans that I haven’t been able to since pre op. To be honest though I have done lots and lots of walking ( in addition to my normal mix of exercise) and historically I’ve always found that helps trim my hips and bottom, so not feeling confident about the change being due to following the 800.
Actually my opening sentence is incorrect as I weighed myself this morning ( in kilos) and I’m up a tiny bit, which I was pretty devastated by…so do I think that’s ok one day they will go down or do I for the first time eat some sugary carbs… if your an emotional eater like me you’ve prob guessed I went for the artificial comfort of food..so now feeling cross and disappointed with myself. Only four weeks to go until my hols so I can’t see me reaching anywhere near my goal.I’m going to try and not give up and hold on to the belief that the scales will eventually change, I’m certainly not ever actually hungry on the 800, so the intelligent part of me says you might as well keep going.
Well done again ladies
Have a lovely weekend

Hi Green Janet
sorry about the bite – poor pooch though, hope that he settles down soon = and that you feel better soon too. -
1. I am so thankful for my beautiful neighbor across the road.
2. Completed all of my work today (before the week-end).
3. Walking in the bush is so relaxing at this time of year (the snakes are still hibernating). -
Hi green Janet,
Sorry to hear about you getting bitten.
Take the time to plan the diet, shopping list etc.
You will soon be back on your feet.Puppy needs understanding and love.
Maybe to a puppy whisperer to get the message through.Love Lucia

Morning everyone
well weigh day here and i can report even tho i did over indulged on my portion sizes last weekend i have noted a 0.6 kg loss or a 1.3 lbs in old money i am now 0.4 kg off my first major goal !!!
so quite no very pleased with that i have to say also another inch off waist and bust !! it may be time for a twirly wirly cinderella moment later in a few items of clothing that still have tags on !!!!
instead of baking for me as today i am home ( oh no i hear you cry she will be on here all day )!!
aah yes i cry i am back ready to double entendre with janey and lucky !!!
so a good start to a day and at the end of five weeks i have lost 6.1kg and at least 4 inches from bust 6/7 from waist and the hardest i always find to shift 4 from hips
with that i am pleased !!!!! -
Ooh I’m going to Waitrose later, I’ll see f there is any left. Thanks for the tip.
Feeling pleased with myself as I’ve been at my target weight for a month now, maintaining by doing 5 days of ‘normal’ eating but still low carb and 2 days of 800.
Lucky Maneki, are you a Welsh speaker? Dw i’n dysgu Cymraeg. Tipin bach!
Have a good weekend everyone. Stay in there! -

on 22 Jul 2016 at 00:55 in Starting the BSDHello Newbie:
Welcome! I to just started this 2 days ago. I have copied IZZY and write my diet and excercise daily on a posting. It works wonders. I just need a scale and pedometer to use every day.
f you go to bed after 10, you may want to eat dinner an hour or 2 later for feeling full 3-4 hours after dinner. Then you may not be snacking an hour before bed.
Ask any questions since I am new also. Any advice, please share some with all.
Daniel

Hello Night Owl:
Thanks for your encouragement for a novice like myself. Since you do your sleep at 1130 it looks, I had a question:
If you eat later in the evening (I am guessing you eat at 6 PM) and give 3-4 hours from eating to sleeping, you would not need the macadamia nuts or any other in between snacking.
I personally do intermittent fasting everyday for 18 hours. It is successful because I take a teaspoon of coconut oil when I wake up and when urging for snacks before bed. Amazingly the fats in it get rid of the urge.
If you read my daily profile, you see that an afternoon snack is almond or other non dairy milk with 2-4 tablespoons of ground flax seeds. With lots of drinking water all day, it flushes out your colon. It goes out quickly and smoothly with lack of constipation.
More better at eliminating the toxins in your body the better.
I also drink a glass of hot water when I wake up with half a lemon squeezed into it. Hot lemon water before coffee or my “SPOT OF TEA” (My English Jargon again in US) π Later the morning, I eliminated everything from last dinner and then eat lunch (which is my breakfast skipped) at 12 Noon.
Remember This words of advice:
GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT!

Breakfast: Never eats to fullfill 18 hour intermittent fast daily
Coffee, tea, and tablespoon of coconut oilLunch: 4 eggs spanish omlette with mozzarella
Snack: 1 Cup of milk with ground flaxseed
Dinner: Chicken leg stirfry with spinach coconut flakes 1 zuccini and chicken broth
Did my 20 minute daily walk. I am going faster now when not eating Drakes Coffee Cake.
The flaxseed drink flush out my colon very well. Gets the job done in constipation with my ginger tea.

on 21 Jul 2016 at 23:53 in Fast 800I weigh myself every day and although Wednesday is my proper weigh day I probably shouldn’t post the number on the scales on a Friday but I can’t help wanting to share my news!
I was down another 2lbs today! Now 10st 1 1/4
I was wondering when I might break through the 10lb 3lb barrier. The next goal always seems so far away and unreachable and then when it happens it’s like yippee! Getting into the 9’s will be the next achievement π
I probably should be upping my toning exercises now but often I just cannot get my head into it. I cycle to work still about 4 times a week so I’m not fully sedentary. Starting small maybe the trick….
And I’m still mostly eating more than 800 calories a day which amazes me as I’m still losing weight regardless. Eating lots of Brazil nuts, wonder if that has anything to do with it!
-
Good evening everyone I’ve had a busy night in my little den π
I made a small fabric ‘box’ from an old t-shirt and some felt. I fixed a dress belonging to a friend of my daughter, I took in a top of mine that was too small, and I added a broad lace band to a shrug to extend the sleeve length as I was never comfortable with the sleeves as short as they were π super productive. Well… it was productive inbetween fighting with the sewing machine that decided at one point it didn’t want to play.
it is 1120pm and I’m hungry so I’m going to have a few macademia nuts and head off to bed.
-
Hi Fig, glad you liked our posts. I’m pretty proud of us!
Wow, reversing, that’s a lot of steps! Well done! I can’t believe we’re on day 11 already.
Breakfast was yogurt and blueberries
Lunch was a Le Pain Quotidian lentil and avocado salad with chicken (thank goodness they put their menu and calories online)
Which left me with just enough calories for a boiled egg for dinner and a square of dark chocolate for supper.Total kcal 804, Carbs 23.6g
Steps 10008I found going to a cafe today quite difficult as I was very tempted by all the treats, but I managed somehow. I’ve also been craving a cold soft drink since it’s been so hot.
On to day 12!

I think a lot of people are going to be descending on Waitrose tomorrow, Gymgirl! I’ve used Waitrose more in this last six weeks than I have in the x amount of years it’s been open here! It used to be a Co-op, and if I went in twice a year it was something. Heck sausages, ice cream that’s BSD friendly, and Fage! I heart Waitrose now!

Yes, I grabbed mine as soon as!
Ah right, as simple as that Eps. There’s me with my fancy new-fangled language which makes people spit. I could make it work as an insult with a profanity or two behind it π Well yes, if you had been participating in real life tonight, the ice cream might have passed you by! Never to be mentioned and eaten in secret. You might have thought that Oppo was a slang for opportunity if we mentioned it. You never know!
Night night and yayyyy Friday for those who it feels like a Friday to. Every day since the schools closed has felt like a Friday to me. I won’t know if I’m on my head or my backside now for the next six to seven weeks, what day it is, what month it is even…
I’m off to bed too, I’m battling to keep my eyes open. See you all tomorrow π Sweet dreams!
