Tuesday morning and not hungry yet at 945. I have slowed down a lot on my weight loss compared to the first week. I was excited losing almost a pound a day the first week. I wish I had the power and strength to have that again. But, it was mostly water weight.

Well, half a pound a day is still good. As long as it is losing. I bought out Aldi yesterday on my veggies and hummus and cheese. Kind of funny:

I have farms everywhere within a 100 mile radius; but a lacking of farmers markets. There are quite a few here and there, but I wish there was an all year long open farmers market store like there exists all over NJ. The price you pay for moving up north towards the BOONIES. Come to think of it, the redneck territory outside of the metro area is a lot of fatties all over. I guess they get more access to Drake’s Coffee cake than a Jersey Peach.

Well, progress is still going very slow….or more slow than I expected. At the rate I am going, I may be waiting for June 2017 for buying new French Cuff shirts and vested suits. Why spend all that money when I am slowing shrinking? Still at 18 1/2 shirts now. I would say January I should be at 17 1/2….. hopefully a lot more than that.

I can never fathom how Koreans and Chinese stay so skinny when they eat Shanghai and ramen noodles like 2 times a day. I walk into a noodle shop and everyone is slurping up the noodle. But, they are skinny. I can not fathom the secret. Even in Philly and NYC Chinatown: all skinny.

Well, back to watching the NEW XFILES again:

YAY! I finally got my new sneakers after waiting for 2 months! Can you believe it????! I had to wait 2 months for the back order on THE MOST COMFORTABLE SNEAKER EVER!

I just tried a quick walking in them and they are fabulous. Good bye Reebok pinching my toes!
They are not even hot in them, eventhough they are made from Merino wool.

I think I am never buying a pair of cheap asian slave labor sneakers ever again.

For now on I have to change the commercial to:

All Birds Sneakers…… The San Francisco Treat!

Sorry Rice A Roni! You ain’t comforting like this!

Daniel you are doing fine. I can see you in those sharp new suits – but you won’t need quite so many if you are no longer on Wall St. Merino wool like your sneakers is fabulous for keeping warm and keeping cool – don’t know why.

What is a sloppy joe? – down here it is a casual top but I guess you are not eating that?

    Hello Ruth:

Thanks for reading my eating habits journal and some bits if my bitching to myself! 🙂 Willpower and change of habots! That is the secret to success!

Yeh, I really do not need the pinstriped suits since I retired (like everyone else after 10 years) from Wall Street. very cut throat, especially when working in Tokyo, Tel Aviv and Shanghai. You are right maybe not 20 suit! But I need a good ten of them. I have 3-4 for each season of the year. I change colors and styles as the weather changes. the same goes for shoes.

Yeh, me! A guy! As a guy, I have 14 pairs of dress shoes. Amazing for a man to confess this! believe it or not, leather goods custom made are best not in India or China or Hong Kong! The best was Medellin and Bogota in Colombia and Cuenca in Equador. Yeh, I have an apartment in Medellin (The Cocaine Capital Of The World)!!! Well, not anymore! Only in America do people look at me funny when I say that I live in El Poblado. They ask where is that? I say medellin, Colombia! They think I am a crack dealer or something of the sort! LOL Ignorance = Blindness

I wear a suit everyday…. or atleast a Slazanger polo shirt with a Blazing Blazer! Fred Astairre was not very attractive. But, when the cane, tophat and suit came on when dancing with Ginger Rogers or on the top of the ceiling:

    HE WAS A DIFFERENT MAN!

    Clothes Make The Man!

    A Sloppy Joe Recipe:

    Get 5 or 6 hamburgers
Let them defrost for a good hour from the freezer
Cut them up until they are minced meat
Get a jar full of tomato sauce
Dump all in a pan and cook for a good 10 minutes!

    DONE

Put on hamburger buns and you have a Sloppy Joe!

But, I do not use buns. I make zuccini or summer squash or Speghetti Squash and put Sloppy Joe on it.

I SWEAR that these are the best sneakers you will ever own! Merino wool in my sneakers and suits. So soft and so breathable!

Starting the day off fine. I had the munchies last night staying up to watch America kick Brazil’s ass in the Bronze Women’s Volleyball. I munched on a good cup of cottage cheese and two Velveeta slices. I am very weak!

Well, atleast I was drinking a mix of almond milk and moo juice with crushed flax seed. I might be staying up to watch the Silver Voilleyball tonight and the big one Friday: The Gold!

Yeh, I know that the Olympics is fixed like NFL Football, NBA Basketball and other sports like soccer and boxing. But, I am still a couch potato that enjoys it. I like the intrigue in seeing who will win. But, here in Politically Correct US, there is no winners anymore in sports for kids! There is a trophy for the losing side now. So, crazy and upside down! OOPS, I am talking politics again! this a health forum!

Well, I am getting ready for staying in Long Island City Queens soon for the US OPEN! YAY! I love doing the wave! Just no chocolate sundae like George Costanza did in SEINFELD!

Going to see the Philadelphia Philahrmonic this Weekend in Saratoga and Sweeney Todd at Glimmerglass Opera house. I like the cut throat scene in the barbers chairs and then throws his down the chute. So creepy and gory. Yet, entertaining! It is like Edward Scissorhands meet Freddy Kruger!

Daniel, thanks for the Sloppy Joe recipe. I had wondered about that for a while. The blueberries sound scrumptious.

You had better hold off on new shoes as well because your feet may get smaller as well as your waist. My husband – now 83 and not very social – loved his good suits and leather shoes in his day. He still has some, but I suspect the moths might get at them soon. I need to take him on a cruise

Whisky and chocolate are my go-to snacks for after dinner so they have had to be on hold – for some time yet, even they were small serves!

Enjoy your lovely concerts and theatre

Ruth the Aussie is right: I should hold off on shoes (dress shoes, especially easy to slip on Monk Strap shoes). But not these sneakers I got! They are like walking on a cloud. My instep in getting smaller also. I noticed that when clipping the mighty toe nails. Like what does my Pinky Toe do for me? Let’s see what happens when a pinky toe gets cut off on a TV show:

Chocolate is a weakness too in me, but my big KRYPTONITE is any dairy like Cheesecake. I used to drink whiskey until I got rid of rye, barley, and wheat all together. I am now designated driver! Thanks: I will have fun tonight seeing The PHILADELPHIA PHILHARMONIC tonight! I guess they come up to Saratoga hoping to win big on a horse race! 🙂 Or the Casino next door!

Another day of feeling some constipation. I tried to stay away from eggs for a couple of days. I feel like a old fart because of my constipation! I am still young…for now! A decade goes fast since graduating college!

I am drinking milk of magnesia for easing the aches. I seem to eat too bulky of foods. Lentils tonight do not help because they are bulky too. It is getting annoying trying to find the right eating habits daily. I might as well go on a cabbage soup diet! You only lose water weight in that diet.

    Day 34 Monday

well, I went to the supermarket today just looking for what is on sale. I bought out all the butcher today! 4 Chickens, 5 chicken livers, cow tongue, sweetbreads (Don’t ask if you don’t know!!!!), rib steak. It was a huge sale that i had to buy it all. Cooking one of the gutted out chickens to make a chicken soup. More soup in the freezer. My kitchen smells like Katz’s Delicatessen in the Lower East Side!

Well gotta check on my boiling pot. It is so easy to make soup. Why don’t people cook it more often? Eating at my brother’s house is quite an adventure for this diet: bagels for breakfast, granola bars for snacks, and pizza for dinner. Cook? Wash DIshes? What is that, asked my sister in law. We wash dishes? I only use paper plates.

Back to cooking my week supply of soup! I should ask the Soup Nazi on new recipes:

I hit the cheese too much. CHEEZ WIZ! Well, I have cooked enough soup for 3 weeks in the last 2 days. Pepper Steak looks good for dinner tonight! Gotta use the veggies up before they go bad. The chicken soup was amazing because I add a secret ingredient: A Mighty Large Summer Squash. Add more color to the soup. It is more like a stew than a soup because of the veggies all tossed in.

There is nothing like wearing a white tux and doing Die Ententanz! The what????? Well, it is an Oktoberfest dance to the accordian….. but it is more Swiss then Bavarian. Translated it is the Duck Dance!

It is totally silly and funny to do. Flap your wings, quack like a duck, and bend them knees. Nothing like seeing the Lonegrin opera and afterwards making about 25 % of the people doing this silliness. Most had no clue what the hell we few were doing nor the music. I guess Germany is a foreign country for the many!

I just love causing commotions and chaos where ever I go. After 3 minutes, everyone was doing the silly Southern german dance. It definitely belongs on AMERICA”S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS. But, it was not at home!

Del Potro (Dont cry for me Argentina)
Ferrer (My favorite because he don’t get pissed off)
    venus Williams (SHE WON TONIGHT!!!)
Serena Williams (Skipping her for an Andy Murray match!)
    Andy Murray!

    There is no:

    Monfils
    Nadal
    KohlSchreiber( Go germany!!)

Well, going to probably get something to eat. I should be careful being in Cheesecake and Pizza city!715 and the match starts at 8. I like walking around the park and seeing the structures they had at the Worlds fair in 1982.

    330.6

Today 7 days later it it at:

    328.0

2.6 pounds loss in one week.

    So it will be next Labor Day in 2017 when I will be at (2.6 * 52 = 135.2 ) : 192.8

192.8!!!!!! That would be amazing after one year weight loss and life change. One year of hard work for 20+ years of living on the SAD: Standard American Diet! Haagen Dazs, Ben and Jerry, Cheesecake, potato chips, and lots of lox and bagels! It was easy work munching on all this crapola for my whole life.

Now comes the PRICE for my splurging all that time: Hard work losing weight and building muscle mass.

Well, I am sitting at the stadium. I had a few healthy munchies this morning for breakfast. Murray just won the first game against The Mighty Spaniard: Granollers. Not as crowded as last night! I guess too many people are still stuck to the MATRIX and stuck on the RAT RACE. SUCKERS! They can stay as slaves to the workforce! I wanted my freedom and got it a long time ago from the Wall Street Burnout Syndrome!

Well, security check was interesting. They demanded me open my thermos which has chicken soup in it. Nothing like living in a “FREE” country ran by the STASI. Wait a sec…… did the Berlin Wall fall down 25 years ago? I am not so sure. i must ask Checkpoint Charlie. Nothing like arguing with these simpleton security guys.

This is a fun match with Johnson and Del Potro. You would think I am cheering for Johnson because he is American, right? NOT! I am a fan of the Argentinians Del Potro. I love the country, especially Mendoza. The government sucks, but the culture is amazing with next door Uruguay. I can even play a game of polo in both countries. Hell of a lot more advanced than their fellow Latino neighbors.

It is 5 even both. Come on Del potro. Make a big comeback to the Tennis sport!

The stadium is wide open now at night. No more rain. I find that the closed stadium has better concentration on the players because of the lacking of hear the planes at JFK and Lagaurdia. They had a rally of 28 in the Serena Williams game. And another one was 40 for Andy Murray. WOW! That is a hell of a long rally.

    1 can sardines
    1 Peach
    2 Apple

What a wild day today in Flushing Meadows! My 2 favorite stars playing each other: david ferrer and Juan Del Potro! Del Potro did a great win in this game. David Ferrer has a great attitude in tennis. That is why he is my second fav one. I read Murray’s lips and he is saying a few bad words to himself. Thankfully, they never tape the stuff he says. It would be Rated R to watch the 4 tennis championships. LOL

Del Potro is making a great comeback. He has not been to the US OPEN in 3 years. Monfils from France is also making a fantastic comeback to the US OPEN. Both players I would love to see them in the final championship. But, it is more likely Djokavich and Andy Murray!

Djokavich match was crazy. The second set started and his opponent stopped and retired. The pain and suffering in tennis. People just do not understand the pain in all your joints for being a pro. A say Accupuncture and Ayurveda would be best for such ailments. Even Michaels Phelps does this traditional medicine stuff for his swimming.

Well, Sunday is another day at US Open and Monday being Labor day will be packed to the walls also. It was standing room only with Del Potro match. It was really crowded in the Armstrong Stadium.

WHY DOES DANIEL NOT USE MICROWAVES AND USING ONLY CELL PHONE FOR BRIEF FAST CALLS??????????

    http://www.naturalhealth365.com/5G-wireless-technology-1958.html

Read up on HF (high frequency) and Microwaves in the upper atmosphere. One does not need to be a Ham Operator (Like Myself) to understand how your brains and reproductive organs are getting fried like and a sunny side up!

I am doing some window shopping this morning before going across the river to Queens for more tennis. lord and Taylor did not have much on hats for a selection. It looked like they sold a lot of their stock on summer hats already. I have to go to a haberashery instead.

I am quickly ckecking out this one this morning:

    jjhatcenter.com

I could use a new good Borsalino. If the price is right. They get a bit pricy. You pay for quality!

    Day 47 Sunday
    Sunday September 4 2016

What a wild day yesterday at US Open. Monfils won all the way and is going to play on Tuesday. Monfils, Del Potro, and David Ferrer and my favorites. this is mostly because they enjoy the game. They play it as enjoyment. They do not get so pissy over losing a set. They just go with the flow. Nadal, Ferrer, Djokovich, and Serena Williams all get pissy when things dont go their way.

Kerber won all the way also. She is able to kick Serena Williams ass in the final match. her role model is another German Stefi Graf! Another one of my favorites of Europe. She was a hot potato too when she was playing! 😉 A mentor of Algelkique Kerber….probably because they both have the same Southern German accent.

Raphael Nadal had a tough long match for 4 hours and 5 sets. It was quite astonishing watching him and the newcomer Pouille from France. The Spaniard was getting frustrated and emotional in the 4th set. And then there was the big tie breaker in the 5th set. Nadal got slammed after he was holding on tight. Tough game and I do not think I would last 4 hours. I would have fainted and passed out after 1 hour.

Djokovich has a great game with England’s Edmund. It was quite a game. I think Djokovich could have won it blind sided. It was over at 1230 in the morning. Nadal match was too long and then came the great game with Kerber. And finally Djokovich. All 3 were sold out with standing room only left.

Well, 9 Am and on my way to eat something quickly. And then see Del potro on his match today at 11 AM.

    HAPPY LABOR DAY!

Breakfast: 3 egg broccoli Cheddar omlette

Lunch: 1 Cup Greek Yogurt with Blueberries

    Snacks:
3 celery sticks with Cream Cheese
    2 handful Sunflower seeds
    1 Peach
    1 Apple

Dinner: 2 Bowls of Chicken Soup with string beans with tomatoes

World No. 1 Serena is headed to the quarter-finals, but yesterday, Karolina Pliskova said ‘czech mate’ to her sister Venus. I really thought Venus would make a huge comeback in third set. Fooled Me! and upset me I guess no Sister versus Sister in the US OPEN.

Speaking of upsets, world no. 4 Rafael Nadal lost in a ‘this close’ marathon match to France’s Lucas Pouille. Tres triste. Tennis fan favoritess like Novak Djokovic and Caroline Wozniacki are still in it to win it. Balls will be flying until the tournament wraps this weekend. Djokavich killed Englanbd’s Edmund. he could have won blindfolded!!! LOL

In other sports people are talking about, Colin Kaepernick is still controversial. He’s the San Francisco 49ers QB who’s been sitting during the national anthem. Kaepernick says he’s “not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” Some are outraged, saying Kaepernick is disrespecting his own country. Others say he’s just exercising his rights. Now, that includes President Obama, who said over the weekend that Kaepernick’s protest is “the way democracy works,” as well as some fellow footballers and other athletes.

Crazy news this weekend. Wild fun at US OPEN on this 3 day weekend. I had no time to do any window shopping at all. I find more time later this week with less games in US OPEN now until finals this weekend.

    MONFILLS!!!! MONFILS!!! MONFILS!!!
Man, he put on a wild show today. he is so entertaining when he plays. I can taste the passion of the sport when he is playing the game. I saw his new strategy:

He is right handed and he does not line up his feet equally. His right foot is a good 6 inches behind the left foot. So, his serve has a stronger power in it. Quite interesting. He made a big breakthrough. I like his style and attitude. And no bitching to himself like Andy Murray.

Del potro tomorrow! I can not wait for thim niether. I love both of their styles and flair of the game. Those 2 and David Ferrer are my favs in the sport today. Andy Roddick had a great style too. Most do not even smile during the match. ENJOY THE GAME!

If only people knew the pain and suffering they go through to be perfect!

What is the only sport the coach or trainer has no contact with the player???????? Not boxing, foorball, or Lacrosse!

People reading this probably stuck their tongue out and ready to puke when I had that tongue sandwich 2 days ago. hey, jewish cuisine is a bit too much for some people. We cant eat shellfish or pork, so have to eat the cow’s tongue.
