A week and a half into the fast 800 and I’ve lost 2kg and over 3cm off my measurements. Really thrilled and ready to keep going for 2 more weeks on the very strict part of this regime. I respond really well to the 800 calories a day eating weeks, but still haven’t found a successful way to maintain this. Maybe it’s just my way to have to go low for a few weeks every couple of months. So sorry to hear about your husband, BB. Hang in there! We’re all trying so hard in many different ways, ODAAT can mean so many different things. Keep sparkling and singing on that bus everyone, we are nearly halfway up the hill now!!

Hiiii V good to read your positives and i like it when for a change a negative can be a positive!
*~ Had a “ good” day..have fasted, its now 6 30 pm and Im about to eat veg and scrambled eggs..
*~ Got dressed up today, even tho going nowhere. Fed up with wearing comfy old clothes,so I put a new top on, painted my nails, sorted out make up and toiletries, did a meditation, drank lots of water, went on my rebounder. Feel much more alive for making an effort!
*~ Without making political comments ..not sure its allowed..but two people have gone over the last seven day here and elsewhere..,plus the promise of a vaccine soon…its been a good week! 💜❤️🧡xxx

on 14 Nov 2020 at 17:27 in Fast 800Hello everyone! Sorry I’ve not been posting but really don’t have much to say!
Gattina I do remember you and I just wanted to tell you about my experience with BSD and T2.
I lost around 15% of my body weight and I did put my T2 into remission. I have since gained some weight back and am still way over where I should be BUT I have kept my carbs low for over four years now and my blood sugars remain in the ‘normal’ range. For me , and it is only my experience, I have found that even being overweight my blood sugars stay ‘normal’ if I stay low carb. Maybe you should focus on the carbs more than the scales?
Best of luck with your journey.

on 14 Nov 2020 at 15:20 in Fast 800No, that’s my fault SG . I started typing on the thread page and then I always copy and paste the text into WORD in case it disappears . When I pasted my text I forgot to delete the initial message … Thanks for the paneer recipe. Definitely one to try . I bet that would be nice in a spinach curry instead of halloumi. I have cheese making attachments with my yoghurt maker, for making fromage faisselle and I am going to try that too . We are lucky to have a farm nearby for supplies of raw milk at ridiculous prices per litre . xxx

on 14 Nov 2020 at 15:09 in Fast 800Hi Wendleg, double post from you, a glitch in the system?? I did 30 mins aerobics with just one cat watching from his comfy spot on the couch. Was watching a cookery programme today and they made the Indian cheese called Paneer, so simple to make if you want to try. 1 litre of milk warmed in a non-stick pan or a bowl. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice and watch the reaction. Pour into some cloth to drain and leave for about an hour. Squeeze out excess moisture and you have something between cottage cheese and mozzarella. When we were kids and going out for the day on a hot day in summer. Dad always put a bottle of milk in the boot of the car. With the movement and the heat, by the time we arrived we had cottage cheese to spread on our bread.

on 14 Nov 2020 at 15:02 in Fast 800Hi SG ! Happy World Diabetes Day ! I suggested you could inspire Gattina with you success in managing your diabetes.
Today hasn’t been too earth shattering either. My yoghurts were nice and firm in the yoghurt maker when I got up this morning which is always very satisfying. I am still investigating cheese making for absolute beginners. It’s all a bit mysterious but I felt like that with fermented veg initially.I was able to do my pilates session today without disturbing the cats ! I mix up the sessions and today was a lot of stretching which is good, especially if you haven’t done any exercise for a while. I’m not so comfortable with the weight bearing exercises… very much work in progress . There are even sessions for ‘seniors’ !! Hi SG ! Happy World Diabetes Day ! Hi everyone, I am in the same situation with my weight. I have been up and down losing and regaining the same half a kilo. Now I have lost that I had hoped for some movement again but I am dithering between 76.5 and 76.8. Today I was the higher number and always trying to think where I have gone wrong. I too didnt have my small vodka and tonic but I also didnt do my exercises as planned. We can beat ourselves up as much as we like but we are all doing our best. If you really havent gone off plan then your body is telling you something, like ‘hey, give me some time, dont rush me, I’m working on it’. It will work out. A few months ago I was 79.9 and convinced my body didnt want to let me get under that no matter how hard I tried. Well I am now 76.8 so I was wrong. It will happen if we just stick with it. Or as I always say – keep on keeping on… We still have just under 6 weeks to the big day so anything is possible. For me 6lbs would be nice.

Hi C CATHY and BUSY🐝I feel for you sisters! And I admire your persistence!XX
I remember this knotty and horrid frustrating and maddening problem being discussed a few years ago on a forum about the 5:2 diet, and sbody mentioning Amanda Sainsbury- Salis and her book,Dont Go Hungry Again and what she calls the famine reaction,i.e., when you just stop losing…
Heres a link to her website..hope you can find a solution there…
 https://www.amandasalis.com/
And a review of the book…
“Staying satisfied while dieting is the key to beating the “famine reaction,” the body’s method of protecting itself when it perceives a significant food shortage. This insightful resource explains the science behind the famine reaction, and includes vital information on how anyone can control and repress the body’s negative reactions to diet. Notes on nutrition and exercise plus 50 delicious, healthy recipes are also provided. This is the ultimate, tried-and-tested guide to working with both body and mind to lose weight safely and permanently”

Cathy I do feel for you as I am in exactly the same boat (or bus)!
Nothing seems to be working at present although I confess I haven’t been as ‘good’ as you have!
Lots of things going on, mainly with concerns over my lovely husband whose dementia seems to be getting a little worse at the moment.
Still, must stay strong and battle on though beginning to think that if I stay about the same weight until Christmas I will be lucky!
O.D.A.A.T. (Trying but not always complying – I
Must not let that be my new mantra!!)

Hello everyone. Sorry not to have posted for a while, but nothing much to report tbh. But I really enjoy reading everyone else’s posts from the bus, and hearing how you are all getting on. We can learn so much from each other and help spur each other on. Butterlover, I’m so glad you’ve found a routine that works for you, and Dawn that your sparkly chart is still in business! Wishing you and your lovely dad all the best at this difficult time. Cathy I wish I had an answer for you. You are an absolute inspiration in terms of your diligence and motivation and it just seems so unfair that you are not currently seeing results. The only thing I did wonder is about your sleeping patterns. I’ve read on the NHS website – and elsewhere I think – that if you regularly sleep for either too long or not long enough, it can interfere with weight loss. Apparently 6-8 hours is ideal. I don’t know why, but just thought I’d throw it into the pot. But all I can say is that I’m sure you WILL start losing again. Just wish it was sooner rather than later! But we still have 39 days to go so keep hanging in there. Being honest, I’ve gone a bit off piste this week (yes, again!) so am going to pack it all up in a proverbial cardboard box and make a bit of a fresh start on Monday. I want to do a strict 10-day blitz up to Black Friday, then celebrate by doing my Christmas shopping (online of course) with a glass of fizz. I do find I need little things to look forward to to help me stay motivated. So I will do my best for the next couple of weeks and keep you all posted. I’m a bit wary of throwing around numerical targets as I just tend to miss them and get disappointed, but if I could get below 140lb by the end of the month I’d be over the moon. My lowest recent weight is 141.8lb but I’m currently around 143lb. So we’ll see . . . . Good luck everyone, and I look forward to reading your news over the next few days X
-

Just looked up the definition of disappointment and it sums up exactly how I feel “sadness or displeasure caused by non fulfilment of ones hopes or expectations”. Couldn’t have put it better myself! Exactly how I feel today!

Feeling a tad fed up this morning. Scales have gone up for the third day in a row despite being in ketosis and sticking to my ODAAT regime and being good! I know it is likely fluid etc but still disheartening to see scales going in the wrong direction when I am saying NO to things I want to say YES to! No Friday G&T last night! Had a glass of sparkling water instead. I don’t know why I’m finding losing weight so difficult and don’t know what to do. I committed to doing this until Christmas Eve and despite what the scales say I am not giving up until Christmas Eve. I am fed up of not seeing a result yet but I can only hope for a whoosh at some point soon. It is a test of my resolve and will power and disappointing but I won’t give up. Maybe I should not weigh myself until Christmas Eve. That is something I am going to think seriously about. It might be better than tormenting myself. Looking at my statistics for the last 11 days I have lost 0.6 lbs! I could cry! I know that it’s not just about the scales but something doesn’t seem right here. I am definitely in ketosis according to my ketostix. Oh well, I will keep on keeping on and fighting my battle. I am going to stand at the front of the bus and hold my head up high and will not hide at the back because I have done nothing wrong! I will record my total weight loss at the end of my 50 day journey and won’t bore you all with the daily ups and downs over the next 39 days. I am putting a 🌟 star on my imaginary chart today because I AM GOING TO SEE THIS THROUGH TO CHRISTMAS EVE despite the disappointing result 10 days in! Sorry for the rant! Thank you for your support and if anyone has any ideas or suggestions or tweaks, I would be grateful. Have a good weekend everyone. I am having my tooth out on Monday so that will mean I will be a few grams lighter! Every cloud etc …..

on 13 Nov 2020 at 19:42 in Fast 800HI Gattina ! I most certainly do remember you ! So happy to see you back . I remember you struggling to find the motivation to stick with the programme but you know you are absolutely doing the right thing for your health . Sunshine Girl and Verano can talk to you about managing T2 and you too can achieve that . I have heard of the programme you mentioned . I wonder if that is what Eclectic Rajistani was embarking on ? ( Come back and tell us how you are getting on, Eclectic ! ) If I understand correctly the idea of the meal replacements is to simplify meal planning and to kick start weight loss for people who maybe struggle with re adapting to low carb. If you prefer real food ( and who wouldn’t?) then follow your instincts Gattina. You know what works for you but whatever you decide you must stick with it . Maybe start out with a weekly plan , keeping to the Fast 800 principles with tasty recipes which don’t hve to be complicated. I am not going to tell you what to do because you already know but keep that essential WHY in the foreground every time you put a morsel in your mouth ! You can do it and you know we are always here to offer whatever support you need ! As I said to L A …..Look forwards not backwards ! Please don’t disappear again Gattina . … I will come and find you;-) ( I can be a bit bossy;-) )

You have that strength, LA …. you made the decision to find us so that is a major first move.
Don’t WISH for weight loss, LA , make it happen , you can do it .
Have you read the advice for people starting out which I posted on last week’s thread ? Let me know if you can’t find it and I will re post it.You have major challenges LA and certainly it will be tough if you are undermined and emotional eating is a real danger . So FOCUS ON YOU , LA … plan and prepare. We will help you every step of the way but banish the negativity . You are not lazy, you do not lack dedication . on 13 Nov 2020 at 19:02 in Fast 800Hi Shally ! Good to see you joining us. You are very welcome ! Sunshine Girl has already given you some very good advice . Yes, your target is certainly attainable but remember it is recommended that you think long term in order to maintain your weight when you get where you want to be. Carbs are insiduously addictive and to crack the addiction is a massive achievement.
I have an app on my phone called Drink Water Reminder which does exactly what it says with a little tinkling sound to alert you when it’s time to drink . I personally like sparkling water with or without a splash of apple cidar vinegar. All the best to you Shally. Stick wth us ! I hope all is well in Northern Italy. Stay safe x

Supper tonight was supposed to be venison burger, egg and chips (celeriac of course), but I blew the food budget at the fishmonger this morning, so we have to eat fresh fish and seafood for the next couple of days! Hardship, this 800 cals 😉 So tonight is mussels, which will be steamed and served with samphire and salad, and tomorrow night will be sea bass, plus samphire and salad 🙂 We’ll run the smoker on Sunday and make some smoked salmon to go with eggs and spinach and cream cheese and big mushrooms in various combinations, and probably have fresh salmon on Sunday night. Ooh, and the fresh squid will be portioned up and go in the freezer. I may be taking this “focus on what you can eat” a bit too far, but feeling motivated for the weekend, long may it last.

Dawn, when I read your post this morning it resonated with me. Despite being on day 10 of my ODAAT regime and despite a 40 hour fast, my weight is now only 0.6 lb lighter than when I started. It went down and then has gradually gone up. I was really disappointed this morning but with 40 days to go to Christmas Eve I am NOT giving up. Your dad’s fleecy, tartan throw sounds lovely. I bet he feels all cosy with it on. Dawn, put a star on your chart this morning! You don’t need to lose weight to earn a star! You are keeping strong in difficult times and keeping your resolve. I am not giving up either because I am not letting the scales get the upper hand. I am in ketosis, I am eating less and I know I can’t be getting heavier eating so little. Scales- I am ignoring you! Have a good day everyone.

on 13 Nov 2020 at 10:30 in Fast 800Hi LonelyAdipose
I would like to send you a big virtual hug, your post touched me and I really wish I could wipe away all your negative thoughts and help you see what an amazing person you are. And I know you are amazing because you’ve come here looking to make changes and ask for help. It takes courage to do that and you have taken the first steps. Firstly you are not lazy! It sounds like you are in a difficult situation and anyone struggling would find it difficult to be disciplined. What does lazy mean anyway, nobody has the right to judge you and only you can decide what is best for you. Start slowly, have you read the fast 800 book, or the Blood Sugar Diet? If it’s the right approach for you then just choose a date to start and get going. Start exercising gently, go out for a daily walk then slowly build up. There is lots of support on this forum, always someone around with words of advice and encouragement.
Please do not see yourself as lazy, you are doing the best you can and that is all any of us can do.

on 13 Nov 2020 at 10:15 in Fast 800Good morning beautiful people.
I was just casually browsing through the internet this morning and thought I would check in on this forum and I was delighted to see the very kind shout out from Wendleg at the start of the week. I am still lurking and struggling to find my way again…
I’ve been on this forum on and off for a while, some of you may recognise my name some of you may not. I’ve completed the 800 calorie blood sugar diet a couple of times, lost close to 3 stones then put it all back on again over the years. This year I’ve started several times and not been able to stick at it. I have T2 diabetes which is my primary reason for wanting to lose weight, I’ve been obese my whole life.
Earlier this year I asked my GP to refer me to the Tier 3 Weight Management Clinic, they have a 12-month weight loss programme involving total meal replacement for 12 weeks then, then re-introducing food and finally maintenance. The programme is supported by healthcare professionals throughout which is supposed to provide support. I started the programme this week, and this is day 3 for me. The programme is based on the Roy Taylor research for reversing T2 diabetes and Michael Moseley based the 8-week blood sugar diet on that research although he used food rather than meal replacements.
Still early days for me so not sure how this will pan out – already feeling a bit disappointed with it. The first session involved telling the group about the products to use and the rules and then sending us off to do it, with what feels like very little support. Also it feels quite unhealthy just having processed, artificial meal replacements, whereas when I did the BSD I was eating loads of healthy fresh food. I’m sure when I lose more weight I’ll start feeling more positive about it.
Best of luck on your journeys everyone, you’re doing really well. This is an amazing forum with lots of positive people making really good changes in their lives and your stories are inspiring.
 All the best

Hi fellow Countdowners.Still no further loss to add to my sparkly chart but I refuse to give up(I know for sure I would have done if it hadn’t been for the forum) My dad is still not eating and one of the nurses in his care home thinks his body is starting to shut down, but he’s comfortable and is sleeping a lot bless him.For one of his birthday presents we sent a fleecy tartan throw which he was apparently very taken with so there is some solace in the thought that he is finding comfort with that wrapped over him (it’s not the same as being able to give him a cuddle would be though🙁)I’m not berating myself too much when I emotionally eat at the moment but am going to fill next 3 days food plan in on MFP so that I’m not tempted to just grab stuff.Hope everyone has a good day.Dawn

		Weigh-in again today:
He is 20st 7lb (down 1lb from Tuesday)
I am 13st 3.2lb (also down 1lb since Tuesday)His BP is a bit low again this morning, will monitor over the weekend but may be calling the Dr again on Monday to reduce the dose of med#1 – that would be good! He has a weekend of telly planned – F1 and rugby, so I’ll have to keep the cups of tea flowing and maybe plan in some zero-carb snacks for Saturday (I’m thinking homemade pork scratchings), he has acknowledged beer is not an option 🙁 Supper last night was chicken burgers (blitzed chicken breast with garlic, red chilli, spring onions, lemon zest and juice and salt) and radicchio salad with cherry tomatoes.
 Breakfast today was a treat – 2-egg cheese omelette (35g cheddar)KOKO 🙂

Hi Everyone.today ,I feel that I’ve found a formula that works for me.I count carbs and portion size on all packages .stay strictly less than 50 gms daily.
Make a big salad every evening and keep half for tomorrow.keep a protein cooked and ready in the fridge, eggs and chicken are my current favourite. I don’t eat till after 12noon. Fluids only in the morning.lunch is the salad and protein in the fridge.4pm snack nuts ,or berries or yoghurt.dinner salad or cooked greens and 100gms of meat or fish.
My big problem has been after dinner snacks.I found the extra meat or eggs solves the problem. In cold weather a bowl of miso or chicken stock. Also, When needing distraction, utube any related topic fasting ,keto etc etc motivated me.Most of all reading all the great advice on these forums.Ive been on and off the BSD thinking for several years. Now I’ve worked out what fits my situation the challenge is consistent determination. I hope everyone is moving forward ODAAT.

on 13 Nov 2020 at 01:57 in Fast 800I’m joining this group for weight loss support.
I’m 35, about 230 lbs, and guilty of emotional/obsessive/bored eating.
I struggle with a long-term rocky marriage, which sometimes includes degrading criticism and verbal abuse. Things are slowly improving, but there are still hard times… but I have no desire to separate, just to be clear.
My biggest issue is not controlling my eating and being lazy. I used to eat healthy and exercise regularly, slimming down to the 160s, but since things have gotten tough at home,I haven’t been able to develop the proper dedication and enthusiasm.
But I really wish I would lose weight. Getting fit would change my whole life while greatly improving my confidence and self-esteem.
I would welcome any tips on getting focused on achieving my goal.

 on 12 Nov 2020 at 15:41 in Fast 800Hi sunshine-girl,
Thanks for your post. Yes, I meticulously log everything in my fitness pal, even my mess-ups. I was drinking more when I started, using a 1L bottle but as its been getting colder, I am not drinking as much. I was drinking a couple of mugs of tea and need to get back into the habit (sigh).
I need to lose 19kg to get to a BMI<25 but I thought I would start with 14.
Some more background: I am 51, 158cm/5’2″, currently weigh 72kg and have initially aimed for 65kg as I haven’t been below 70kg for about 20y and I don’t think ever below that in my adult life! Once I reach 65kg (BMI 26) and I see how my bloods results are, I thought I’d consider the next 5kg. I am at or over the max levels for glucose, (101), cholesterol (217), triglycerides (182) with low HDL (45) – these, high BP (medicated for 20y), a family history of heart problems and a younger brother with recent heart issues prompted me to start the Fast800. I’ve read Dr Mosely’s Fast 800 book and was keeping the journal but switched to the MFP app.
Thanks again for your advice, I’ve just put the kettle on!
Enjoy your shopping – it’s the only time I get to go out.

*~ Lovely bright crisp sunny morning!
*~ Went for the mass covid test,…..only had to queue for ten mins or so. Was hoping for a big brawny soldier but was registered by a little lad with ginger hair. Looked like he should be in junior school never mind the Army. My little soldier spent five minutes sitting with me taking my details, then directed me down the corridor, and twenty seconds later, asked me if I had registered yet! Ermmm…yeh..just now, with you?… I must be totally forgettable and completely invisible! Hehe!😀
*~ Test was ok,nowhere near as bad as I expected, got negative result twenty mins later.
Hehe! 😀 On the way out,a nice big strong looking soldier waved goodbye to me 👍🏻 Love a man in uniform!😘
Thats my news for now..hows everyones day going?x 🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝🎶🐝

on 12 Nov 2020 at 14:57 in Fast 800Hi Shally, thanks for the shout out. As you dont have a great amount of weight to lose you are not going to see massive losses. Would be great if you could go on a diet and lose 10 lbs in week 1 and so on and be finished with the diet in a few weeks. Unfortunately it doesnt work like that. Dont worry about the occasional slip up, sometimes these keep us sane in these sh000ty times. As for the ‘water’ intake, you do know it doesnt have to be water, the word should be fluids and these can be taken in different forms. 750 mls is not much and I can take that much with my morning glass of water water with lemon (actually I have vinegar) and my usual cup of green tea. Are you counting everything. If you are so low you need to get into some habits, for example, every time you go to the kitchen sink pour a glass of water and stand there and drink the whole thing. If you do this 3 or 4 times a day you will be getting there. I always have my glass filled up as soon as I finish it. Get a water reminder bottle (dont know the proper name), you can buy them on Amazon, add a slice of lemon or some crushed strawberries if it is the taste you dont like. You will get used to it. I am now completely back at the weight I was last week plus a small loss so hoping I can do a bit more before the weekend. Supermarket shop today and then round to the pharmacy to pick up my sack full of medication. What an exciting life I lead. That’s my wave in for today. KOKO

on 12 Nov 2020 at 14:13 in Fast 800Hello Wendleg, Verano, WindyJulz, RubyG, sunshine-girl, Olive_1, Mifoz everyone else!
I thought I’d pop in and say hi and thank every one on here and other threads for all the information I’ve been reading.
It’s great to see the progress everyone has made and is making. I started my journey on the 7 October and after 5 weeks in I have lost 7kg (~1stone/17lb), halfway to my target of losing 14kg overall. I would have liked to have lost more (I think I read 3kg per week is not unusual?), but it’s my own fault as every now and then I relapse – for example, I had a pre-lockdown Mexican dinner two weeks ago and yesterday I made jaffa cakes for the family…. even though I was adamant that I wouldn’t have one ,I did :O !
The last few days I have been feeling hungry where I wasn’t previously. I eat 20-25g carbs a day but somedays I only end up eating 600 calories. I am also finding it hard to drink more than 750ml water a day 🙁
 Anyhoo, will be following along.
 Stay safe everyone,
 Shal
PS I’m based in northern Italy.

on 12 Nov 2020 at 11:42 in Fast 800Hi everyone ! Checking in to see how you all are . Did a Pilates Zoom this morning with 4 chums . I am a plodder there too.. making progress but unlikely to be chucking my legs over my head any time soon !! Nice to catch up with friends and ‘see’ them’ even if it is only once a week.
Still not in the fasting zone . Something is holding me back so have to think about that.
I can’t help with the endometriosis Olive, just that a friend used to talk of a whole range of painful symptoms. That’s good that you can get to see a specialist.
Glad we are helping you stay on track Mifoz and no, you are definitely not alone ! Great news about the shorts. Most importantly, seeing this as a long term health plan was a light bulb moment for me too.
Great news Ruby ! So pleased for you and your hubby.
About raisins in yoghurt… I don’t do that but like to add a sprinkle of caraway seeds (cinnamon can be a bit strong for me) It might sound a bit weird but I do like the taste.
Love your attitude Julz !Hi V ! Hi SG ! Those trips away will happen… I am feeling more positive than this time last week !
 love to everyone xx

Thanks again freester! Re. snacks and nuts – I find if I can resist temptation I have more willpower than being able to moderate my intake, if that makes sense. Probably not a mentally balanced response, but no snacks is sometimes easier than a few nuts, and before I know it the packet is empty. Distraction works for me too, do something else and the craving passes. Gammon steak, egg and chips – yum (not so fussed on the apple even before this way of eating). Tomorrow night’s fakeaway treat is venison burger, egg and celeriac chips 🙂 I think in the BSD book, one of the people interviewed made a comment about not focusing on “just 800cals” but making those 800cals the best food you can. In many ways, this has been good, and shaken me out of a cooking rut and trying new things along with adapting old favourites. Green curry paste (make a batch and freeze in an ice-cube tray – 1-2 cubes is usually sufficient for 2 portions):
12 fresh (or frozen) bird’s eye or cayenne green chillies
 4 cloves garlic, peeled
1 medium onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
 2 inches fresh lemongrass
 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled
Juice and zest of 1 lime
 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
 Handful fresh coriander leaves
Blitz in a food processor until you have a paste (add water if needed to thin down a bit)

Well done on resisting temptation. I remember having two or three absolutely insatiable moments during my 6 weeks of 800 cals. Usually after exercise. Nuts are your friends at these moments 🙂 I think the my BP response was the most astonishing thing for me. Admittedly not as high as your hubby or on meds but within one week I’d gone from slightly above the NHS ‘hypertensive’ baseline to below. You are eating well. That’s the thing that helped me crack it you can eat well and eat nice things that previously thought weren’t healthy or were calorific. Any chance of your Thai Green Curry paste recipe pls? PS Gammon steak, caramelised apple, fried egg and celeriac chips last night one of my faves.

Well, after 1 week, I lost 8 lbs, and my wife lost 7 lbs, so that is a good start. Not feeling too hungry now in between meals and managing to not have anything in between meals either. Week 2 here we come!
