O my goodness congratulations Elle-Mae. That is such exciting news.

I’m back at work after two months off, so my positives are a bit work-flavoured.
🪑 As a casual working between two libraries, I usually sit at the desk of whoever is away. But there was a little desk in the corner, the drawers used as storage but for nothing else, covered in dust and piles of old paperwork and miscellaneous junk. It did have a computer, so last year I cleaned it up and sorted through the junk and cleared out one drawer for myself. My own little space. On Monday I came in to find that one of the librarians had claimed it as her own. I don’t know why this gives me a little chuckle every time I think about it, but it does. She had been there for years, the desk had been there forever, but no one wanted it until I tidied it up. Appearances are important! Today she even put a nice poster on the wall.
🖥 There is a task at work that we all have to do but I didn’t like and was a bit resistant to. This year I decided to just EMBRACE it, I made sure I was fully up to speed with the frequent changes and decided I would throw myself into it. And suddenly, maybe predictably, it’s not so bad at all.
🚶🏼‍♀️It was too hot to go for a walk a lunchtime, so I went out after dinner instead. Cool and lovely.

📚 took delivery of a Ta Da note book and a Gratitude note book today …. new project to start tomorrow.

📕 Today I’m feeling so grateful that I have a job I truly love. I’ve tried a few things over the years and some were ok, but now at 51 I’m doing what I think I’ll be happy to stay with. Librarians never retire, they just get grey and crotchety.
❓I had to ask for help twice today with things I really should have known, the second time the colleague laughed with/at me and asked what was going on. I take it as a compliment that she knows I’m usually competent – and I’m sure that’s how she meant it.
🐖 On my walk I saw a ceramic piglet in someone’s front yard, it was really so lifelike (if a little small) I kept staring at it in case it moved. Maybe its head did turn a little…?

Isn’t it lovely to see from everyone’s positives that life is gradually getting back to some kind of normal.

Yowser, happy birthday to Beau … sounds like you have both had a lovely day of celebrations.

Positives for me today are …..
🌷 spring flowers are appearing in the garden … mini daffs and tulips in the front garden. They look so cheery. 🤞🏻they don’t get flatted in the winds tonight.
🙂 little shopping trip with GD today and she bought herself a couple of little things … joss sticks and a wall plaque. She loves to have a few new things to take home with her.

🍓 I’ve been having a bit of trouble with my home-made-ish (based on Easi-yo) yoghurt so I researched some FAQs. I’m sure the original instructions were something like to use warm (not hot) water. Apparently that means 15-20 degrees! It even says if you live in a hot country (like me, in Australia) you might need to refrigerate your tap water briefly. That is not ‘warm water’ to me. Maybe I remembered wrong? So I’ve been making it waaay to hot. I’m happy to have (probably) found an easy solution to my runnyness issue.
👚 My daughter did some housework and I came home to find piles of neatly folded clean clothes.
📚 Another box of new books for me to open and process. All on art; drawing and ceramics.

    Hello.
Sorry I’ve been away for a while but have been having a minor issue with my leg that I had extensive surgery on three years ago. My right leg is full of metal parts from top to bottom so I guess there will be odd times when it gets a bit ‘unhappy’!
Anyway, glad to hear the ta-dah notebooks have turned up. Must take a look myself.
Yowzer, belated ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ to Beau glad you had a lovely afternoon. Snowdrops how wonderful I’ve not seen any yet.
Sunny counting down with you to your next ‘adventure’ … not too long now.
Natalie how wonderful to have a job that’s not only fulfilling but that you really enjoy as well.
Hello Elle-Mae and anybody else I may have missed.
So, I do have positives …..
☀️🌛🌗 Sunset 5.22pm today …. almost spring just ….less than 6 weeks before the clocks spring forward.
🧄🫑🥩 Making my almost meatless cottage pies tonight. Using lots of onions, green peppers, carrots, celery and lentils I can make portions with around 100g of meat or maybe even less. Not vegetarian but getting closer. Must admit lately we have been eating smaller meat portions and more vegetables.
😀😀😀 Felt ‘smiley’ today, despite Wordle. Today I broke my 33 day run with a word that wasn’t even that difficult but there were just too many variations of one letter. Hopefully it will get back closer to the original. But I’ve now found ‘nerdle’ a numbers guessing game!
Finally finished cooking whilst writing this so off to have a relaxing evening.
    Enjoy tonight.

Elle, isn’t it lovely to see cheery spring flowers appearing? Really feels like better and longer days are fast approaching here in the UK.

It’s been a quiet domestic day, but I’m sure I can find some positives….
🖥 made good headway with compiling next month’s village newsletter… just a few tweaks tomorrow and it’ll be ready to go. Always a relief to get that task done.
📱string of messages between GS and myself, which he closed out with a completely unprompted ‘love you Nanna’ … can’t ask better than that 🙂
🤧 threatening cold hasn’t really come to much and still testing covid negative too. Another early night tonight might get me back to normal again.
🍮 made mastic scented panna cotta for date night dinner tomorrow, to be served with boozy mango cubes. Looking forward to a belated valentine celebration.

Really hope your day presented positives, we’d love to read about them.

Finally to those in the UK, take care tomorrow in the coming storm … it sounds like it’s going to be a bit grim and potentially dangerous in some areas, do be careful and stay safe.

    My positives for the day:
🗓 It’s Friday! Doesn’t matter how much you love your job, weekends are always welcome.
😇 I was alone during a lunchtime shift on the desk, and the library suddenly went from empty to full of people all needing my help. It got a bit frantic, until that moment a colleague got back from her lunch break and could help. My angel!

Home now and grateful to be indoors listening to the wind whistling round the building and rattling the windows and doors. Have picked three books from my bookshelves and I’m settling down for a long read, when I decide on which to read. Feel for anyone badly affected by the storm 💚 and for the birds..how can they stay perched in the trees when they’re all blowing wildly.

Cyborg …. what a great name! I have to admit I feel a bit more like the ‘tin man’ at the moment. A few squeezes of oil and I’m sure I’ll be fine…. hopefully!
As usual it’s good to read all your positives. I don’t have many today but will try ….
🧺🛏🧺 Made a good start on my ironing including one super king size duvet cover … nightmare but done. Just one left to go!
🌿🌷☘️ Ordered ( sorry Sunny) a ‘faux’ orchid. I’ve seen a few in peoples homes lately and they do look good. Thought I would just try one and see although I have to admit I’m not a ‘fake’ plant person. We will see!
🥡🥘🍷 Completely ‘off plan’ dinner tonight. Had planned salmon for dinner but the wind is blowing ( no major dramas here .. so far) and feel like something ‘hot’. Found a portion of curry in the freezer, plus onion bhajis and vegetable pakoras, so casting all caution to the wind we are going to ‘enjoy’, with wine!

*~ I haven’t been in Tesco very often over the last two years but was in there a few days ago and was so pleased they now have a place where you can take plastic wrapping and packaging etc for recycling. V, hope you enjoyed your Indian cuisine. I’m planning to make a goat curry tomorrow.
Natalie, how was your steak dinner? Re: subbing vanilla for mastic, I would say not a good swap. Mastic is resinous with quite a medicinal woody flavour, so I’d say rosemary or lavender would make better alternatives. However, panna cotta is often made with vanilla, so that’s probably where the suggestio came from.
Yowser, DS and partner are doing fine, thanks for asking. Well done on you tech success … always good to triumph in that sector!

Few little positives from me today …
🍮 enjoyed the mastic panna cotta. Always gratifying when a new recipe works out well.
🥫 sorted out the larder area in the utility room … well overdue task. Ditched some out-of date items and tidied the shelves. Looks really neat now.
🙂 larder task fed into the start of my next round of 27/9 feng shui discards nicely.
🎛 OH installed a smart controller for our heating system …. Will be a boon when we’re coming home from warmer climes in winter. Think my orchids will appreciate it too!

Hope you weren’t badly impacted by the storm and year your weekend is going well … enjoy the rest of it. And please do post a positive or two.

Very glad our UK posters have got through the storm ok.
    My positives for yesterday:
👩🏻 We babysat our nieces, who are 8 and 5, all day yesterday so BIL and SIL could go to a wedding. The little one tends to be a bit fragile without her mummy, and there were some tears in the first half hour, but after that it all went very smoothly. Colouring-in, making drop scones/pikelets, board game, a movie, playing with putty. She didn’t want to leave when daddy came to pick her up.
🧶 My son seeded supplies for his textiles class and I thought we had another week but turns out he needed them Monday. We managed to get to the local little craft shop during the limited hours it was open and the lady there was very helpful. I’m still a bit surprised he chose textiles (sewing) as a Y10 elective, apparently some of his friends are doing it too, I don’t like to question too much in case that implies it’s weird or not ok for a 15 year old boy. Of course it’s fine, he’s just never shown any interest. Hmm, can’t help wondering if it seemed like the easy, low-homework option.
☁️ It was a cooler day after a few hot ones.

    Hello!
Another weekend almost over! I woke up this morning thinking it was already Monday …. oh dear!
Had the weirdest dream last night. You know when you wake up and then fall back into a deep sleep, that sort of dream. So, I’ve been using a mobile hairdresser for the last year or so, when permitted, but last night, in my dream, I went back to my old hairdresser, who was obviously peeved that I’d not been for so long. He did my hair, very quickly, then said he’d finished but there were three large rollers still in the back of my head! Think he was angry that I’d not been ‘true’ to him! Must admit my new hairdresser makes me look the way I did in the 60’s ….. what’s not to love?
So my first positive is as above!
🥘🥘🍷 Chicken curry leftovers from the freezer tonight with red wine ….again, what’s not to love! No cooking!
🏖🏝🏖 Having a ‘head out over sand’ moment tomorrow morning. We have a trip booked in just over 10 weeks, first foreign trip for over two years. So tomorrow is ‘D’ day …. just how tight are the summer clothes going to be???
Well, tomorrow we will see, but at least there s still time to take action.
    Have a good week everyone.

V, 🤞🏻 those holiday clothes are just fine … and if not, you still have time to do something about it.

    Some positives from here…
🍲 this evening’s goat curry was very tasty … especially considering I just threw it together. Not exactly ‘on plan’, but 🤞🏻not a complete disaster either.
🌺 day 2 of my 2nd round of 27/9 …. mostly digital discard today, but still a useful exercise.
🌷 despite the high winds over the last few days, my little spring flowers that have bravely bloomed, are still managing to keep their heads. Loving the dwarf daffs in my front garden …. cheery sight from my kitchen window.
That’s it, it’s been another foul weather day, so very thankful for having safe shelter in a cosy home. Sometimes, it’s the simple and most basic things that should be acknowledged as positives, so hope you’ll soon be posting a couple of positives yourself.

    Big happy today.
📚 I’ve mentioned I’m a casual and work during COVID had been a bit sparse, well today my boss asked me to work three days a week for at least the next couple of months. That is so perfect! Gives me time to do the grocery shopping etc and study, speaking of which…
📖 I start my Masters Degree online next week, and the course material for my first two subjects was available today, so exciting!
🤸‍♀️My daughter is a gymnast but has only done one little practice comp in the past two and a half years between lockdowns. She had a comp yesterday and was a bit nervous as she’d recently been put up a grade and had barely had time to learn the new skills and routine but she did really well and received the best score she’s ever had. Twelve hours of practice a week paid off! And Tim and I were allowed to go in and watch, not a given these days. So proud. State Trials are in three weeks. They are currently saying no spectators for that, but fingers crossed they change the rules by then.

*~ DD finally made it to Oxford on business trip! 🥳
*~ Too soon to do another 27/9 round 3,but wanted to do something..so today I’ve started a 9/9 of 9 things for nine days…anything that helps my good health and well-being which I often neglect through laziness…so far today I’ve ..
body brushed before my shower, given myself a facial, drunk lots of water, fasted, and tackled a phone call I’ve been putting off, sent a text I shd have sent days ago….3 more things to go and I’ve got lots of ideas.
*~ Bought some lovely Easter cards..I can’t WAIT for Easter to come, but don’t want to wish my life away so I’m making the best of every day

    Hello all.
Elle-Mae hope you enjoyed your engagement ring shopping I’m sure it was wonderful-and sure you have a wonderful ring, ENJOY!
BTW ‘Twiggie’ … never was, definitely never will be!!!
Natalie all sounds really good. This is what we want to hear … normality…. success… what more can we ask for??
Yowzer …. body brush, facial, water, fast … what are you trying to do? Feeling really guilty … but …. tomorrow is another day so maybe …. we can all follow in your footsteps!
Sunny I’ve only eaten goat once and I think it’s probably an ‘acquired’ taste!
Soooo …. today I took your my head out of the sand , took the plunge and tried on THE dress….
🏖🏝🏖Well, 2 years on, I checked with my journal, I weigh almost exactly the same. The dress fits nicely when standing up but it’s a bit (maybe more than a bit) snug when sitting down.. But plenty of time to address that.
🥚🥬🫒Finding that three meals a day show better weight loss than two! Must just be my body. Maybe we should all be a bit more critical of the ‘diets’, mix and match, and try and work out which is the best route for each of us personally, rather than ‘assuming’ a new approach will be better.
🌼🌹☘️ Bins blown down , next to my daffodils ….. but …. they weren’t damaged. Huge bonus … our neighbour picked up our bin and put all the bin bags back in ….. REAL POSITIVE …we are so fortunate to have such wonderful neighbours .
Just hoping that everyone will find that the new ‘recommendations’ fit into their lives …. we need to find a new ‘normal’!

    Hi Sunny, Verrano and Yowser
Not sure that I fancy goat. I def like to have 3 meals a day but within usually a 15.5-7.5 window it can vary according to the days plans, longer today cos we have been out !!
Jewellers was rather posh. I have chosen the ring, but as it has to be made it will take about 6 weeks, and as we have decided not to tell family until we have the ring the secret will have to be kept for a bit longer.
I have decided to rejoin the National Trust, I left it when it was lockdown as it didn’t seem worth it to spend the money when we couldn’t go. There is a National Trust property about 5 min drive from me so it can be somewhere to go a walk regularly as well as us going and visiting further flung places when the weather improves.

Yowser, your new 9/9 regime sounds interesting, we all need to pay more attention to ourselves and deserve that kind of care. Keep up the good work.
V, that dress will be fitting perfectly in no time, especially as you’ve found what works best for you meal-wise.
Elle, wonderful news that you have found the ideal ring for you … it will soon be on your finger and you’ll be able to share the joy with all your friends and relatives.
Pleased that no-one seems to have suffered too much damage from the storms. Hopefully the weather will improve from here on.

Positives from me for Monday ….
☀️ rain abated early afternoon and we have actually seen the sun for a few hours. Makes such a difference to have brighter weather.
🙂 have arranged to go into town with GS on Wednesday. Looking forward to spending time with him again.
🚗 the better weather meant OH was able to do some work on my car …. new number plates and two new tyres. So lucky to have someone so capable.
🌹completely hooked on rose harissa … enjoying it almost every dinnertime, with roast veggies. Going to order some more later this evening!

👙I went for a bra fitting. I last went in the summer (do you remember summer?) When I had lost a stone, but now having last another one my bras weren’t fitting right. As I am rather large in that department I have always had what I would describe as functional bras but this time I have come away with 2 different sexy bras. 😁😁😁😁
🎁 Got my daughter’s birthday card posted and her present ordered to be delivered to her in England, her birthday is on Monday.

ELLE MAE that’s great! It’s not easy getting pretty or sexy bras in bigger sizes, I have same problem.I’ve got a couple of really nice but rather expensive bras, and they do make me feel much better, but my other bras.. I think they’re the style usually referred to as “over the shoulder boulder holders”!🙁🙄
And oh how lovely, half a dozen calves!!! 💚
    My positives..
*~ What a magical day today is…22.2.22…all the twos and today is Tuesday ( Twosday!) …apparently that won’t happen again for two hundred years!
*~ Nice to be in the park today ..kids on half term so lots going on,plus it was very sunny, and it was good to see the birds enjoying all the feeds they were getting. I was pleased to see nobody was feeding them bread..sometimes people ignore the notice asking not to give them bread, or at least not to give them it often.
*~ DD and SIL both away so I get to see more of our big furry pusscat…had a good game with him this afternoon,he battered his already rather battered toys! Think he needs some new ones 😺😽xx

Ellie – I too went for a ‘proper’ fitting a couple of months back after losing a shed-load of weight. I thought I could ‘do it myself’ BUT each make is totally different & as I’d lost so much (down from a 42-44HH/J to 36GG or 38G) I REALLY needed a ‘proper’ fitting. OMG there is nothing much better than having good well fitting bras & throwing those boulder holders away. My fave bras are Elomi or Panache (they have many different styles & a proper fitter can tell which is best for you) – they come in the biggest sizes you can get & are pretty sexy too. Yowser – get yourself a ‘proper’ bra fitting & the boulders will be pinky & perky – just like they used to be in your 20’s. I walk much taller & feel SO much better in decent fitting bras. My clothes also fit me FAR better. I’d recommend a ‘proper’ bar fitting to anyone – just make sure they hold the better bras – I had to travel 40 miles each way for my fitting BUT OMG it was well worth it!

My other positive is that Hubby is doing the 12 day challenge with me & also I managed to make him stand on the scales today! YAY

🍏 My fast is over and I can eat again! I don’t know how anyone would do that if they didn’t have to, I did not find it an enjoyable experience. And I was craving all unhealthy food: KFC, pizza, Cheezles, chocolate. I do much better if I eat healthy food regularly before I get too hungry. We’re all different, aren’t we! But feeling replete and happy now. 🩺 Medical procedure over and I got the all-clear.
🖥 New expansion of my favourite game came out today, I didn’t have the mental energy to play today but it will be there waiting for me tomorrow.

*~ Up and out early today to feed Puss as DD and SIL are away til tonight. Made a nice change as normally I have a quiet morning indoors, taking my time getting showered and dressed and doing my massage, moisturising and exercises for the dreadful horrible lymphodema I have in my legs. Saw several dogs on their early walks..a baby Alsatian,a Scottie,a poodle and a Jack Russell were my favourites but they all were lovely.
*~ Enjoyed time with my little prince, our pussycat. Lots of tummy rubs and games!

Good morning and apologies for not posting positives last night, but I typed out a lengthy post, only to be logged out the instant I pressed submit …. aahhhh!!!
Being tired, the thought of retyping it all was too much, so I opted for going to bed instead. However, I’m ready to post now, before today gets fully underway…. so positives from yesterday are …
🙂 OH finished the job he was doing early, so he joined GS and myself for lunch out. Lovely meal, a glass of wine and a good chat 👍
☺ treated myself to some new undies …. and a slotted spoon. Odd combo🤣, but I needed both.
🌸 little patches of blossom and snowdrops along the roadside en route to town …. so cheering.
🌈 saw a full rainbow on the way home … don’t often see a full one, so it felt really special.
👗 a pre-loved dress won on a well known auction site arrived. Has been hand washed ready to wear … might wear it for date night tomorrow.
Overall, yesterday was a special day full of good things. Hoping today will bring lots of positive moments too.
Do please post your positives too … we’re looking forward to reading about them.

    Today my positives were:
📝 I had no commitments today, I didn’t have to do anything or go out in the rain or drive anyone anywhere. So I got stuck into studying this morning and felt very productive, then played the new expansion of my game all afternoon. Lovely day.
🥕 I had felt so deprived of food the past couple of days that I kind of gave myself permission in advance to have whatever I wanted today, including junk food. But then I didn’t! I stuck to the diet, with just some chocolate after lunch. Very proud of myself.
🌸 I take cuttings of African violets and grow them, from the original 3 I now have 15 (not including all the ones I have given as gifts) and some of those have divided and need to be separated and repotted. I don’t really have space for them all, so I think I’ll take some in to work. They flower beautifully; pink, white or purple.

    Hello.
Just looked for my last post and hadn’t realised I’d missed so many days. So, sorry, rather than individual replies can I just please thank you all for your positives which , as usual, bring a smile to my face.
Despite this being a ‘dark’ day , because of this we really, really do need to find the bright side …..
🎉 Daughters birthday lunch cancelled today because of bad weather in Shropshire but good news … new arrangement for tomorrow.
🥳 Grandsons will be here to celebrate too …. haven’t seen them for months!
🌷Daffodils have yellow buds … looks like we might have flowers!
Chin up everyone, keep the faith, we will overcome and life will get back to normal ….. one day🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
    Have a good night

VERANO sorry you didn’t see DD and GS’s today but at least you will see them tomorrow! 🤙
    My happy things for today…
*~ Lovely little daffs in the garden..they are small..does that mean they’re narcissi? They’re cheerful anyway!
*~ Friend knocked on my door..he’s in his sixties and quite foxy…I’ve been encouraging him to try online dating but he’s unconfident and scared of rejection ( despite my pep talks and encouragements)..anyway he knocked to tell me that just by chance while out cycling,he got talking to a woman, and they’ve exchanged numbers! Got my fingers crossed! Funny thing was, five mins before he came round,I had a feeling that he had met or was just about to meet someone. Spoooky!
*~ Just ordered myself a pretty necklace from Etsy ( other places available)..I do love a browse on Etsy! XX

    Hi all,
Been a bit quiet for a couple of days.
Btw I forgot to mention that the bras were from Boux Avenue.
Had an eventful day. Realised yesterday that the heating wasn’t working, it turns out the pump had broken.
    Positives
I called the plumber who had installed our heating last night and he was here at 8 this morning, he went and bought a new pump and had installed and working by 8.45 am
Unfortunately an hour later the electricity tripped, but not the lights. By this time my fiance had left for Scotland. So today I have learnt a lot about electricity/fuse boxes lol. A neighbour came in to help explain the mysteries of this to me 😁🤣 but couldn’t fix it. The man I work with told me to turn every appliance off, reset the fuses and try one at a time. This worked apart from having the power trip about 3 times in the process. The plumber came back at 4 and got it all sorted. So I have had the assistance of 3 men today 🤣🤣🤣.
    I am now toasty warm
Upside of all this is I didn’t even have breakfast until noon so very good for intermittent fasting.

As you say V, given the global events of the day, finding positives is more important than ever. Enjoy the family celebrations tomorrow.
Natalie, congrats on your food victory, well done.
Yowser, we all deserve a little treat now and then, enjoy the necklace when it arrived.
Elle, sounds like a less than perfect day, but so worth it to be snug and warm.

My day has been very quiet, so finding stand out positives is not going to be as easy as yesterday, but am confident there must be one or two ….. soooo ….
🥳🎊 oldest GD’s birthday today, sweet 16. We will see her at some point in the next few days, but today she was going to a ‘cat cafe’ to celebrate … she was very excited!
🧘‍♀️ really good meditation session today …. one of those where dropping onto ‘the zone’ happened almost instantly.
🏠 booked all our hotel stopovers for our drive out to Turkey next month.
Well it proved to be easier than I thought to find those positives. Bet you can find one boring two as well …. go on, give it a go.

I had a frustrating day today, my car broke down twice and I ended up spending nearly five hours waiting around. But now that it’s over, I can see:
💵 It was all covered by my roadside assistance and my car battery was still under insurance so I didn’t have to pay anything.
🕰 I wasn’t working today and the car was fixed in time to take Jasmine to gymnastics, so the timing was as good as such an event could be, if it has to happen.
🏡 The breakdowns were at the local shops and then at home, so I was in comfort with minimal standing in the rain.
So “it could have been worse” sounds like damning with faint praise, but really it could have been so much worse that in the end I can be quite grateful. And best of all it’s all fixed!

Oh dear … all these breakdowns but pleased to hear you are all fixed now!
Just two positives for me today …..
1.Saw family had a lovely lunch. Able to hug my family again! Life is getting better!
2.Huge step forward … I’ve reached my first goal of the year. Ok it’s taken me nearly two months and it wasn’t such a high hurdle, but I’ve done it! I’ve had the same goal for over 12 months …. so now can move onto number 2 goal. Again not a huge goal but really doable, hopefully before Easter.
Hope you’ve all had a good day… stay positive no matter what!

Verano that is awesome! Well done. I need to set mini goals, I really only have a big half-way goal in my head.
Elle-Mae isn’t it good to be able to set frustrations aside. I’m finding searching for positives is genuinely helping me feel less grumpy and defeated.
I like to read the positives in the morning as I have my first cup of tea so I don’t have any for today yet – except for the enjoyment right now of reading other people’s positives as I have my first cup of tea! And a Saturday morning sleep-in.

🎵 Eurovision is approaching and last night we watched “Australia decides” where we choose our entry, by voting from home + “jury” votes whoever they are. And our family favourite won!
🍓 Did I mention I tried that change to making yogurt – with room temperature water instead of my idea of warm – well it worked perfectly. Firm all the way through like a creme brûlée.
🌷I have not yet used the bath bombs my husband gave me for Valentine’s Day as it is summer here and they work best in hot water, but the smell of lavender has permeated the bathroom.

Lots of lovely positives have been posted and happily by quite a few of you. I’ve had a busy couple of days, which is why I haven’t posted recently. On the upside, there have been quite a few positives, hence me posting now …
🥳🎊 Mum’s birthday on Friday. Pleased to say she is continuing to recover well from her procedure the week before and was able to celebrate her special day.
🍽 Friday date night…. always a high point of the week.
😌 GS has decided to seek counselling …. I’m so proud of him. Even taking the decision seems to have made him a bit less anxious and he socialised one2one with a couple of friends on Friday and Saturday evenings.
☀️ two sunny days in a row, even if they haven’t been very warm, it’s been a mood boost just having the brightness.
🌳🌺 GS and I put in a few hours working in my garden today … looks so much tidier now. Pleased to say all immediate tasks were completed,
✂️ cut OH’s hair yesterday, that should hold him until he can visit his barber in Turkey.

Has been a great weekend… hope yours has been too.
