I started the diet 4 days ago (modified as I am still breastfeeding, so just following the low carb and not fasting). Today I have noticed a frequent need to urinate, and loose bowels, just wondering if that’s a side effect anyone else has had?

Constipation is more common than the opposite, but it seems to vary possibly depending on starting gut biome adapting to the diet. Frequent urination is common at first due to the improved hydration and also the carbs that have been causing water retention clearing out of the system. This usually settles down after a week or so.
