Just bought a marvellous treat from Waitrose – Puglian figs with buffalo mozzarella which I brought home & devoured all 250 calories of it without pause!
Now wondering if actually I shouldn’t be having figs at all?! They were semi dried. Any advice? Thank you!

On MyFitnessPal it says this fabulous sounding treat is 150 cals for a 60g serving. Depending on whether you are trying to keep your carbs low this serving is also 15g of carbs,, 12 of which are sugars.

I fear to tell you that figs are probably too sweet to be a regular BSD permitted fruit – sorry – but as a one-off you’re probably OK.

    Hi Mooloc,

All dried fruit contain higher sugar levels than fresh fruits, maybe best to avoid for now😕
