I have read several posts where people delay eating breakfast or omit it all together. I have been following general Med diet for 8 weeks now, and certainly not ravenous to eat straight after waking, but don’t know what to do about first daily dose of Metformin, usually taken with breakfast. Can anyone advise what approach they take please?

If the idea of the Metformin is to reduce blood sugar, then simply not having breakfast should have the same effect, but I am not diabetic. Hopefully someone who is can advise, or failing that check with your GP or a pharmacist.
