    It’s nearing the end of my second day and all seems to be ok so far! I have kept within the 800 cals and set my carbs target to 50g. I am not diabetic but I am overweight by about 20lbs – that loss would take me to my healthy weight range for my height.
    I am interested to know if anyone would “sacrifice” their carbs or calories…I mean would you rather go slightly over on calories but keep carbs under control? Just out of interest really as I have concentrated on my carb levels.
    Also I was sooooooo hungry last night I had a inch cubed lump of cheese 🧀- there…..’fession over 😇

    I always tried to have at least 800 calories, although I know some prefer not to go over, and set myself an ‘upper limit’ of 830. Carbs always varied though I tried to get the 7 day average to be around 40g and usually managed, but I had high days and super low days. I wasn’t diabetic though so the occasional higher carb day didn’t cause me any problems. You really have to tweak what you do to suit your life and your body.
