Myself and my hubby are starting the Fast 800 diet tomorrow, after reading the 8-week blood sugar diet, which was a real eye opener.
I am a severe carb addict (according to the test!), and I have to say I am a little nervous about this challenge. I have been a yo-yo dieter for as long as I can remember (I’m 48), but always fall back into the same old habits. After reading this book, it gave me a real shake up as I do not want to end up with diabetes, which is most definitely the way I am heading. I know it’s going to be hard, but no pain no gain and I believe it’s now or never.
I have read through some of the comments, and would not usually make comments or post anything, but I feel I will need encouragement along the way. My hubby is like a machine, once he gets focused he stays focused. Me on the other hand is a different ball game. I am great at starting things, but never seem to stick to anything as I get bored or lose interest. However this is one thing in my life that I do not intend to fail at, but you may see me on here quite frequently for support.
