This makes a lovely milkshake/smoothie (not sure what to call it) but it has a thick consistency and tastes great. It was born out of jealousy when my daughter made a banana one! 185 cals for this recipe (I had it myself but you could split it into two small) and 13.9g carbs. It made for a nice breakfast variation for me.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup raspberries (mine were frozen)
• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
• 125g fage yoghurt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1-2 teaspoons sweetner (to taste)

Method

put it all in a blender and hit that switch!

remember to put the lid on though.

enjoy :)

****update**** adding an extra half cup of almond milk makes little difference to the calories or taste but means that the whole mix fills a pint glass.

I’ve also been making it with Aldi greek yoghurt, I’m sure any plain full fat yoghurt would do. I’ve made this a lot recently with various combinations, sometimes without yoghurt at all. Strawberries are nice, and sometimes I add 1/4 banana, you get the creaminess and taste of the banana without sacrificing all the calories and carbs for a whole one. I freeze the other quarters for future shakes and pop them in frozen to blend. Blueberries are nice in it as well but the bits of skin may put some off!

Breakfast today. Yummy. Good idea about bananas Izzy, plus the icey bananas will make it colder too which I would enjoy…so will do that next time…
