Wraps

    Starting the plan tomorrow, so I am getting my shopping today. Are you allowed wraps.

    I make my own by mixing a half cup of chickpea (Gram) flour with a pinch of salt and enough cold water to make a thinnish batter
    Cook in a pan just like a pancake until brown on both sides.
    Tasty, full of fibre, and good complex carbs and none of the bad stuff.

    Hi Noreen,
    Check the nutrition panel on the packet. For such thin little morsels wraps are surprisingly high in carbs. Most are 16-20g of carb.
    Bill has also put up a coconut flour flatbread recipe which works well. I added rosemary to the ones I made. Think I’ll add some crushed garlic to the next lot as well as the rosemary, and make it a low carb replacement for focaccia.
