Hi Susie58 – if you need extra veg then have some, but add in the calories and carbs when calculating your daily intake. Avoid root veg, as they tend to be high in carbs, but also watch things like peas, sweetcorn, etc. try to stick mainly with leafy veggies.
Do get out and about on the forum and if you want to search for a particular topic, use the search box in the top right hand corner of the page, to see if there have been other posts on the topic in question. But do join any thread you feel is relevant to you, as you will get a warm welcome and lots of support.
