I have just started the BSD a few days ago but what I am finding particularly with the recipes that their is no size portion given for the protein, e.g. fish, meat, chicken, etc. The recipe gives the final number of calories but I do not know how to work out what the size of
the protein should be. I know for cheese it should be the size of a matchbox but would like help with the sizes please.

    Hi Cavegirl
Aim to have approximately 1 – 1.5g of protein per kilo of IDEAL body weight per day. Much more than that and the excess your body can’t use as amino acids will be converted to glucose.
    Cheers
    Linda
