    Hi,
    As suggested by the book, I stopped taking Metformin just before starting the diet. Having been looking forward to having my glucose levels read (at the 4 week point) my doctor informed me that the effects of Metformin take 3 months to leave your system, so that any reading up until then will be based on its effects, versus changes from the diet. Has anyone else heard this?
