Do I need to come off my metformin before starting the BSD

Hi Rowansummer,
Welcome to the BSD.
No need to stop metformin before starting, it won’t cause a hypo. You will need to review your meds with your GP/diabetes nurse once your blood sugars are down consistently, to see about ceasing them.
Keep good records to take with you when you see the GP. All the best 🙂

Thanks for that, not sure how much support I’m going to get! Going to take the book to my appointment and tell them I’m doing it !!!
