After eight months of BSD, I have tried a LOT of recipes — both good and bad! If you are looking for new ideas, I highly recommend “The Grain Brain Cookbook” by David Perlmutter, MD (he is a board-certified neurologist) for excellent recipes and also a good discussion on the blood sugar and Alzheimer’s connection and the importance of fat in protecting our brains and hearts. His focus tends be be on gluten but the recipes are perfect for BSD and they are really good — you could easily convert his recipes to UK measurements too. He also includes a section on what to stock your pantry with and he has a great breakfast recipe section (which has always been challenging for me).
