Day 2 lunch – no carb ploughmans!

    Whilst prepping lunch today and after I had all the ingredients on the kitchen bench – I had an idea! Oops watch out there!
    On my slices of ham (mine were circular – and this is what gave me the idea) I spread the chutney. One on I grated carrot (hate celery) and cheese and rolled up like a wrap. On the other I grated apple and chopped walnuts and rolled like a wrap. Hey presto – two course lunch – savoury followed by sweet. I munched on the remaining apple and walnuts at the end.

    Sounds yummy. I did something similar with lettuce. Wrapped different fillings in lettuce leaves and had little tasty wraps for a lunch a few times.

    Great ideas Libby and zebbie. Might just have to try them when my granddaughters visit soon 😃
