Hi,
I have just recently started out on the journey to reduce my Carbohydrate intake. I have bought the books (The 8-week blood sugar diet & The 8-week blood sugar diet recipe book). I have a simple question, which no amount of online research seems to be able to answer.
When I look at a food label it gives 2 figures: carbohydrates in grams per 100g of food & “of which sugars” in grams per 100g of food.
1. Which of these 2 figures is the one I should be monitoring?
2. Why are both provided?
Thanks for your response to these 2 questions.
