Weight loss stalling out halfway through

    Hi all,

    I am in week 5 of the fast 800 and it’s mainly been going very well. I’m right at 20 pounds of weight loss and have been much more energetic and just generally feeling better.

    However, I’ve gone from an average of 4 pounds loss a week to barely half a pound this week. Is there anything I can do to get this started again? I’ve been doing around 10,000 steps a day since I started, plus cardio twice a week for the past two or three weeks. I’d be very happy to drop another 10 pounds before I am done!

    Look to water intake and fat percentage, is all I can suggest, but bear in mind that the increased cardio could in itself cause some water retention that might cause a reduced weight loss, so the fat is still being burnt, but being replaced by water weight.

    It’s perfectly normal to have weeks of small or no losses. Just keep going.
