I am about to start the BSD and although I’m relatively healthy on the outside (BMI 23.5, hip:waist 0.7), I’m a stone heavier than I want to be due giving in to uncontrolled carb cravings. Cereal, and ryvita with jam or Nutella are my nemesis. The weight loss figures I’ve seen are very impressive but are mostly for folk who are overweight to start with. Are the results more modest if you have less to lose? Am just trying to set my expectations and not get disheartened.
