Hi, I’ve just had my HBA1C results now 5.6, down from 6.1 pre bsd.
Fasting Blood test 7.4 down from 9.9 pre bsd.
Metformin nil down from 2000mg per day.
    Weight down 12kg.

I still have a long way to go to get that fasting blood test in the normal range. Will continue with the bsd way of eating and hopefully the next tests will show an improvement. My fasting blood sugar has gone up since I quit metformin. Metformin had caused drug induced hepatitis and I was quite unwell so giving it the boot was inevitable. Since giving up the metformin my liver has made a complete recovery. The BSD has to work. I will make it work!

Well done, the HbA1c is the important figure and 5.6 is almost normal (I think 5.4) so you are doing so well.
