Well I’m now into week 10 and my lazy pancreas has finally caught up I think! After what seemed like ages of high blood sugar readings they now seem to have normalised between 6 and 6.5. I’ve hit the 2st weight loss mark (now just under 12st) . (maybe this was the crucial weight reduction figure), given up apples and also stopped eating meat about 10 days ago (previously vegetarian some years ago). I’m now eating loads more veg and fish. I classed myself as a slow loser weight wise so maybe some people need a bit longer than 8 weeks to finally crack this. I intend staying on the plan for a few months yet in any case.
