hi I started this yesterday and bought the book on my Kindle I’m wondering if the reason they use coconut flour is because it is lower carb ?I was thinking of coating my oysters with it before I fry them ,but would another flour be better?

    Coconut Flour Nutrition Facts

A ¼ cup serving (or about 28 g.) of coconut flour has roughly :

120 calories 4 grams of fat 4 grams protein 10 grams of fiber but

16 grams carbohydrates of your daily 30 gms and 2 grams of sugar

If this works well for you in your 800 cals then use it but most of us don’t use flour except in the smallest quantities on rare occasions.

    Depends how much you use!

Lots of us on here make the coconut flour flatbread, using 1.5 tablespoons of coconut flour. That’s 60 calories and 5g of carbohydrate.
