Mid afternoon cravings

    why is it that I get the most terrible food cravings after lunch, that I don’t get after breakfast. My most vulnerable time for straying off piste is around 4pm. Anyone got any thoughts.

    Jimbo, it could be habit, do you normally have an afternoon snack. I did pre BSD because I was afraid of my BG dropping too low, when I got onto the diet and everything was steady, probably because I was eating better food, I still had a 4pm snack until I realised I didn’t actually need it. You could try having something really healthy like a few tablespoons of full fat Greek yoghurt, the fat helps with cravings or a slice of cold meat.
