Yes it was the maple one. I bought a bottle the other day for a teaspoon or something ridiculous, in a recipe. Used to love maple syrup on pancakes, wonder what it’s like on chickpea wraps??? Or is that asking too much from the chickpea wrap?

I’ve just done 65 minutes on the treadmill. 8863 steps done today, not too bad, getting there! I do, very foolishly, walk barefoot on it, and my feet were starting to burn otherwise I think I could have probably done another ten minutes or so… feet up now with a litre of water, and another couple of pages of my book 🙂

I have been cooking up a storm, beetroot falafel done in the muffin cups (tasty but a bit dry I thought?) and Bills crumble with rhubarb and apple and raspberries!!😱😱😱 won’t have it until tomorrow though as as usual no calories left 😂💪🏽 Also made mini non bsd one at the same time for oh, had forgotten how to make so was probably a bit enthusiastic with the butter 😳😂

I know, they’re bloody burning me Eps! I don’t know about the naked bit though, don’t think the children would appreciate it. I’ve already come face to face with my 12 year old twice now, running (yes, running) the seven or so steps from the bathroom to my bedroom and I have, in his words – ruined his childhood. Oh, and it was also something he could never unsee, apparently. So, I think I need to remain clothed. Until at least September 😉

I’m enjoying goats cheese and my S&P crackers, and a snifter of red wine! Yum! Ratatouille with chicken was ‘well done’ thanks to OH’s usual appalling timekeeping but was nice anyway. Very caramelised. Altho, surely we should avoid caramel lol

I’m in the middle of my quarterly visit to damnyouautocorrect and I am in TEARS here. I’ve had to clean my bin lids three times already because of the tear splashes. It’s my usual go-to when I’m feeling a bit down, it’s actually a novelty to be reading it in a good mood!

Wow Tokyo, that’s fab! I love Saints (seriously!) although most of my experience has been with Saint Jude. The patron of hopeless cases, and of things almost despaired of. We could have done with him last Friday I think. And Saint Anthony for finding lost things. Saint Hildegarde sounds like a cracker, she can be an honorary #bsdbabe 🙂

Making the most innocent thing random or filthy? Well, sometimes you don’t notice and post or send… there’s a whole website of phone and message screen grabs from DYAC moments! Damn you autocorrect dot com, no spaces. God, it’s picked me up many a time when I’ve been low, it’s hilarious!

so far i have lost 15 1/2 lbs but have t2 diabetes so seem to be really tired a lot of the time, don’t do much walking as i am too tired when i finish work and decide what to cook its then too late. But the diet is the easiest to follow strangely and seems ok to follow it doesn’t seem worth cheating. I don’t follow the plan so much but do keep within the calories. I have many clothes that now fit but am concerned that they will be too big soon and then i will have to buy more. Oh well

It was you who was wondering about some tablet causing tiredness ages back on the thread, wasn’t it Josie? Was it Met something? Did you ever go and see your GP about it? It is really easy to follow, I find the hardest part is the weighing and adding up, that’s time consuming. But my cravings are very few and far between, I’m enjoying the weight loss too much at the moment, and I’ve had years and years of eating things I shouldn’t have. It’s a small price to pay though, right? I can’t wait until I need to buy a whole new wardrobe, but I’m quite a few stones off that happening yet 🙂

it was me i have spoken to the doctor who says its about the diabetes not the tablets. 2000mg a day seem like a huge dose to me, but i am not medical so what do i know. I am not so diligent as you i weigh very little, i think that if i don’t lose weight then i will start to weigh things. As i seem to eat mostly veg and cauliflower cous cous and hummus and carrot for lunch it seems ok for the moment. I also have many targets so have been 16 st something 15 stone something and looking forward to being 14 stone something within the next couple of weeks hopefully.

If it’s working for you then there’s no need to change anything, that’s the way I look at it. I don’t count the carbs, but because I try and eat the allowed foods I think I’m doing ok on that score. But last week, when I had a stay the same weight? My instinct says it was exercise and not carbs. So I’ve tried to move more this week, and yep, the scales have moved too. Me too on the 14 stone something, another 9lb to go I think, and I’ve lost 17, 16 and 15 stone behind (hopefully) never to be seen again!
I’ve no idea on the dosage of the tablet, plus I’m not diabetic. I’m a firm believer in gut feelings though. If it doesn’t feel right, see what you can find on the internet.

I think a lot of people are going to be descending on Waitrose tomorrow, Gymgirl! I’ve used Waitrose more in this last six weeks than I have in the x amount of years it’s been open here! It used to be a Co-op, and if I went in twice a year it was something. Heck sausages, ice cream that’s BSD friendly, and Fage! I heart Waitrose now!

Morning everyone
well weigh day here and i can report even tho i did over indulged on my portion sizes last weekend i have noted a 0.6 kg loss or a 1.3 lbs in old money i am now 0.4 kg off my first major goal !!!
so quite no very pleased with that i have to say also another inch off waist and bust !! it may be time for a twirly wirly cinderella moment later in a few items of clothing that still have tags on !!!!
instead of baking for me as today i am home ( oh no i hear you cry she will be on here all day )!!
aah yes i cry i am back ready to double entendre with janey and lucky !!!
so a good start to a day and at the end of five weeks i have lost 6.1kg and at least 4 inches from bust 6/7 from waist and the hardest i always find to shift 4 from hips
with that i am pleased !!!!! -

Inch loss is incredible too, if not more impressive than the kilo loss tbh, 7 from waist? I bet that’s taken you down a good couple of trouser/skirt sizes?
I will be round and about today yes, I need to bake a batch of cupcakes (get me!) and I’ve also promised my son he could make his favourite lemon drizzle cake (Tana Ramsay’s, definitely NOT BSD legal…) and of course, I need to pop to Waitrose for some OPPO… aside from that I am here circulating, with a duster in one hand, a rubbish bag in another, and a brush shoved… under my arm 🙂 It’s a nice and cool one today and I weigh the same as yesterday which I’m thrilled at as I still worry it could be some sort of fluke lol. Morning all, especially to the rapidly decreasing Tokyo! I’m enjoying breakfast in the garden. When I say enjoying, I’m actually fighting the cat off my yoghurt and berries. She likes a bit of Greek (so to speak!) and likes to muscle in. Busy day ahead. In between purportedly working from home I need to clean up, pack my boy’s stuff for his 2.5 week trip to IW, get ready for my weekend away, take said boy to barbers (otherwise my dad will tell me he looks scruffy) and BAKE THE CAKE. Oh and find my pot of Oppo! Salted caramel had my name on it. No hissy fits today anyone – it’s going to MTF (Major Triumph Friday) 👍🏼🎉😃😋🍰🎂

Gymgirl – this could actually happen in our local Waitrose. You wouldn’t believe what you could find in there when it’s your only supermarket without a bus/car journey lol. Not joking… hehe. I take my hat off to ANYONE learning the language because it is hard, and especially so when you haven’t been learning it from being very, very young. Are you learning via WLPAN? My husband was before a steady stream of ill health (still going 8 years later…). I still can’t remember the right mutations and things… 🙂

Yep, I’m veering towards the salted caramel too. Not a huge mint ice cream lover, although I was when I was younger. Someone in the reviews said it went lovely with apple crumble and as that’s on the ‘make list’ for poor hubby! I’d imagine that the vanilla would go nicely with a slightly warmed up chocolate cupcake too. This, my friend, could be a gamechanger, you do realise that?

I’ve learnt a valuable lesson (for the millionth time).. Up .3kg this morning but there you go, no crumble, even BSD adapted for me!!! Especially if not well within 800 calories. Unsurprising I guess!! Wonder does this meAn I can’t ever eat more calories again though??? Scary thoughts. Or maybe too many carbs in rhubarb and two apples.. Though I only had two spoonfuls (your Honour)
Anyway, not to worry, it’ll be a great fridY and Saturday and Sunday and by Monday I’ll have lost again, yes I will!!
