You know what I’d find really useful? A basic shopping list for the eight weeks. I’m working from the photo opposite page 137 in the paperback and have got:
spinach, tomatoes mushrooms celery carrots cucumber red peppers avocado raspberries blueberries almonds walnuts hazelnuts pinenuts salmon white fish sardines chicken feta cottage cheese eggs
Of these, I can’t bear sardines (bleugh) so won’t be eating them, but I’m wondering about pulses. There aren’t any in the photo at all. Should we limit them? I could happily eat them instead of carbs but I’m aware that they are very starchy. What do other people think?
