Thanks for the reply sunshine-girl
bit unsure how it works at the moment
I am eating about 700 to 750 calories carbs anywhere between 20 to 40 its quite difficult to make it work on 2 meals a day, also the meals for 2 people are the calories for the meal divided by 2 or is it for each person ?
Many thanks

Spike you can just click’ on your original post to carry on your conversation. You don’t have to start a new link each time! Sorry I can’t help you with your query but best of luck with this way of eating.
NB normally the recipes specify the number of portions!

If you are using the BSD then it depends on what you are making. If it says serves 2 and 270 calories the recipe is enough for 2 people getting 270 cals each so you have to divide it in half either before you make it or after. Put a portion in the fridge for another meal later. If it doesnt mention serving more than one then it is just for one.
We are all on 800 cals and around 50g carbs and can manage that whether we are male, female, sporty or not. Just advice at the start is to not worry too much about exercise for the first couple of weeks as you will feel knackered. Once your body gets used to firing on fat burning you will be able to manage exercise. Unless you are T2 then you will have to be more careful about getting enough to eat in which case you can add a little more – but you dont say you are.
If you are eating enough protein you wont need shakes. We eat plenty of meat, chicken, fish, cheese etc.
