Yes, it really is that time again ! We hope you are all staying safe and well. It’s difficult to stay constanty focused in these unsettling times but as you know, we are always here to provide a space to share , whether to voice anxieties or to celebrate victories, however small.
You don’t necessary have to be rigidly sticking to the 800 cal/low carb programme if it just seems too much to handle right now. To commit to avoiding snacks, sugary and empty foods is good enough even if it means going above your normal targets. Looking after ourselves, avoiding panic and comfort eating to ease stress is great. You will feel less overwhelmed, a bit more in control. You can get back to being ‘stricter’ at a later date if things are just too tough right now. However, it is important to keep your eye on why you embarked on this plan in the frst place… you don’t want to be dealing with massive regrets because you totally reverted back to your former ways and just can’t find the motivation to start again …………
