No Rice Special Fried Rice

A quick and tasty low carb 300 calorie dinner for one or 150 calorie lunch for two using Bare Naked rice!

Ingredients

• 1 x Packet Bare Naked Rice
• 2 x Large Cloves of Garlic
• 125g Crayfish Tails
• 200g Brown Mushrooms
• 1 x Large Egg
• Half Red Pepper
• 50g Shallots
• 50g Spring Onions
• 1 x Tablespoon Olive Oil
• 1 x Tablespoon Tamari or Soy Sauce

Method

- Finely chop the garlic, shallots and spring onions.
- Heat the oil in a deep sided frying pan or wok.
- Gently cook the garlic, shallots and spring onion for 3 minutes.
- While the garlic, shallots and spring onions are cooking slice the pepper and mushrooms and add to the pan after 3 minutes.
- Stir fry for a further 3 minutes then add the crayfish tails.
- Fry for a further 1 minute then add the drained rice, tamari/soy sauce and egg.
- Stir fry everything on high until the egg is evenly distributed and cooked through.
- Serve and enjoy - season with more tamari/soy sauce to taste.

    Hiya…from New Zealand….I purchased Zero rice here….found in the gluten free products..packaged in Adelaide …check out their website…www.zeroslimandhealthynoodles.com…..good luck…looking forward to trying this recipe, but will use prawns…

    In Australia we can get Slendier noodles, pasta and rice. Coles or woollies…..fabulous stuff! Not tasty on its own but as in this great recipe it takes up the flavours. You feel full but negligible calves and carbs.

    Really enjoyed this recipe. Might substitute crayfish tails for prawns next time as they were expensive.
    Made plenty for me for dinner so I froze the other portion for another day. Filling and tasty and could be adapted for other things if you don’t like any of the ingredients.
    Calorie count didn’t match though, myfitnesspal made half of the mixture 219 calories not 150.
