Hi cmor – welcome aboard. Yes there are several folks on the forum who are eating higher than the 800cals and still losing. If you keep the carbs in check, many find that they don’t need to worry about the calories. Personally, I lose slowly anyway and if I don’t watch the calories as well as the carbs, I don’t lose. The thing to do is to give it a go and see how you can adapt the BSD to suit you, as we are all different and need to make the new regime work with our bodies and our lifestyles.
