Can I ask when admin are going to make an effort to stop these posts from even getting on the site. I have just counted 23 in the first 25 posts. From dental treatents in Mumbi to computer programmers in somewhere or other.
When we log in we have to register and if we make a mistake on log in, say something a bit off topic or out of turn, or break some silly rule, we are blocked straightaway. How are these posts even getting onto the site.
I have just reported 25 scam ads, it is making it impossible to seek out genuine posters who might need help or advice. Please report them and dont say anything in their post box as you will just keep them at the top of the listings. I am now going to comment on Positives because it is about 29 posts down and lost in this mess.
Just scanned down the posts and there are 28 today. Okay some are still from yesterday. Do I have the time and energy to report this lot or am I still expecting admin to do something about it.
So much for reporting scams and adverts to admin. Today there are 30 non site related postings. Yes, some from a couple of days ago but these should have been removed as I have reported some of them twice. Losing all faith in this site as it has become an absolute mess.

Looks like there has been a clear out of the scams and ads, we have to keep on top of this by posting so their posts drop down the list.

Can only see 6 at the moment but will not engage with them. They will disappear eventually – keep at them.
I have reported the latest 2 advertising post – Dubai bank and the Casino one. So lets hope they disappear soon.

Admin here. We have automated anti-bot systems in place which do prevent by far the majority of bots ever reaching the site. It is a constant onslaught, and the bots and spammers are getting cleverer, so the ones that do make it through are sadly the tip of a large and very unpleasant iceberg. It is a never-ending tide that all public online forums and social media are battling against.
I’ve just checked the numbers: our automated systems have stopped just over four million bots and spammers from registering and posting on these forums over the last 10 years!
We do manually check and remove every single post that is reported to us as soon as possible, but please bear with us as sometimes this might take a day or two (especially over weekends and public holidays). There were a few days last month when due to staff holidays the reports went unchecked for a few days, but this is a rare occurrence. The bots and spammers also operate 24hrs a day 7 days a week, and as we have members on here from all corners of the globe it is unfortunately impossible for us to remove them all before they are seen.
Please do keep reporting them as we are extremely grateful for your diligence and help with this – we know some of them can be unpleasant to read, and we hugely appreciate every single one you report.

Thank you admin. We appreciate that they are difficult to deal with but there was a period a few weeks ago when we couldnt find our own posts without trolling (no pun intended) through 25 to 30 other posts. I am sure you will do your best to keep on top of it and we will keep reporting.
