Reducing medication

    Hi, when should you start reducing medication? I have been seeing readings of 5.6 – 6.0 for a few days now. I am on metformin and gliclazide.
    I need to know when and if I should start reducing meds.

    Best to have a word with your doctor although, personally, I’d be wanting to see low readings for a few weeks befor reducing meds.
    I did cut out the Exanatide injections after a chat with my diabetes nurse and so far, no ill effects.
