I have recently been diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic (my fasting results were 7.0 & 7.5) and after reading the eight week blood sugar diet am adopting lots of the ideas and strategies outlined in the book. I am not on any medication for my diabetes and will be retested in 3 months time. I have a heart condition and take warfarin and statins and my diabetes was picked up my annual blood test.
If i manage to get my blood sugar results back to normal by diet and exercise am i still classed as diabetic?
I don’t carry a lot of weight but am the classic TOFI and have lost an inch of belly fat and 3 kgs of weight in two weeks by cutting sugar & carbs and exercising twice a day and really would like to know if i achieve my goals will i still be considered as a diabetic?
