I am determined to set myself on the road to freedom from sugar and carbs. I have been told by my doctor that I am close to being pre diabetic. Unfortunately I also have a heart condition and so am thinking of the 5.2 diet. I think the diet if done sensibly will also help with the heart condition as well.
I have made a token start by cutting out sugar in tea and other drinks etc. but I know if I start the diet over the Christmas holiday period I would not be true to myself and be doomed to fail and so I have set a date of 2nd Jan.
Looking forward to my new self.
