I strongly agree with all the Med diet food recommendations. And all of Mr. Mosley’s related recommendations as well.
One question on diet remains, especially for those of us living in Asia – Is there an Asian equivalent of the Med diet? Lots of reports talk about people in Japan who eat seafood, veges, rice and work hard. What about Thai good etc.

Skip the carbs, eat the veg and protein and fat. Works in all languages! 😜

I have never seen someone eating a very traditional (normal not sumo) Japanese diet who is fat.
Could this be because of different strains of intestinal flora present in their population?
Rice consumption for Westerners seems very problematic.
I know some traditional foods can be fine for certain groups but not for foreign groups.
Gut bacteria types is in the news a lot more.
