The book says something about starting at a time that’s convenient – no upcoming holidays/celebrations etc.
I started on that track and ended up so far ahead that I decided to get going anyway – even if it’s only a couple of weeks before the event/holiday, chances are you’ll have lost some weight and be feeling better by the time you get there, and thus less likely to overindulge.
Towards the end of week two I had my first birthday without cake – just a small glass of wine with lunch and a celebratory roast potato!
