Good afternoon everyone…All was going so well. Been on the bsd for about six months, lost one and a half stone, feel great, body fat down to about 13%. Was eating circa 50-60g carb a day but I have noticed over the last few weeks feeling a bit wobbly , eyes feeling itchy and vision gone blurry. Has anyone else had this experience? Any comments would be welcomed as my next checkup at the doc’s isn’t for a few weeks……….

Hi Steven, your profile lists metformin as a drug you have been on for 4 years. Are you still on it? If so, there are many variations in dose and name of metformin drugs but many of them state that the patient information leaflet (PIL) supplied with the drug should be read re side effects.

Some of the information says if any dizziness, then stop taking metformin and see Dr straight away. You may like to explore this aspect of your adverse health at the moment.

Also possible that if you are still on the meds your BG might be dipping too low, symptoms are dizzy, blurred vision, weak and shaky. Do you get a chance to do your own blood glucose test, might be worth buying a kit.
