    Hi
I got these two links from Sandy on the forums. Thought it might be good to have a thread.

This gives you lots of help with side effects like headaches, constipation etc. Very comprehensive.

And another site detailing a similar type of diet is
    Diet doctor.com
It has a lot of good info, short films etc.
If you ‘join’ you get even more.

On this site you can calculate your chances of heart disease and diabetes ( if you haven’t got it) in the next 10 years. It’s what the NHS use.
    Very illuminating and motivating!

Two excellent books on sugar addiction and how to break it are Sarah Wilson’s ‘I quit sugar’ and David Gillespie’s ‘The Sweet Poison Quit Plan’.

I found the UK diabetes website quite informative. Lots of recipes which have calories, fat, protein measured out and they seem quite big on the low carb way to managing diabetes. There is a 10 week low carb program you can join and you don’t have to live in the UK to do so (I’m outside the UK).

This website tells the plain truth about sugar. As a fitness trainer and healthy lifestyle blogger, the word needs to get out and spread quickly. Health has deteriorated so much over the past 25-30 years, processed, processed, processed. This is rising to a prediabetes/diabetes problem that is unprecedented. Following the advise here and the books is one of the smartest ways to educate yourself, help your friends and family, and realize you can truly enjoy life still, with simple modifications and equipped with the correct “know how”. Thank you for sharing this much needed information! Another great article that was a great help to me and my clients is many times you can reverse (and in some cases prevent) diabetes: http://healthyhealthfullifestyle.com/healthy-diabetes-diet/, pretty in depth article and the site seems to be updated regularly.
