I have been keeping my carbs below 50g a day and have managed to adapt quite well to a more med style diet. I have resisted chocolate bars, biscuits and icecream (all of which has been waved under my nose at work by well meaning colleagues!)
I am on day 19 and have lost 9lbs. I did have one day where I was actually down 11lbs but that changed the next day. You might think that 9lbs loss is really good. I would too but I have been the same wt for the last 5 days. I have 8 – 10st to lose so losing 9lbs for me is a dip in the ocean. ๐
On the good side my fasting blood sugar has gone from 11.8 on day 1 to 8.1 at its lowest.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had a spell where they stayed the same wt for a few days. If yes, did a change in what was eaten help kick start the loss again?
