    So, planning to start the 800 BSD tomorrow. I’m in a bit of a state health wise and need to get a grip! I’ve had years of being on and off medication for health problems and have gained a massive amount of weight in the process. My blood sugars are currently normal but I have high levels of inflammation which are exacerbating my chronic pain issues. So, as well as losing weight, I’m hoping that this can improve my pain levels…some research suggests it can help so worth a go! Anyway, good luck to all ๐Ÿ™‚ I will try and post regularly to keep myself accountable! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Welcome EllieAllegra …. Many will attest to this way of eating rewarding them with many more health benefits than simply weight loss. Why not consider joining the weekly thread (One Week T At Time ….)? We are a friendly bunch and all at varying stages, some old hands and newcomers too. There is a wealth of knowledge gained from experience and eagerness to encourage and support each other too. I know you’d be most welcome and it’s a great place to be accountable. Hooe to see you there … new weekly thread will be set up tomorrow, so watch out for it.

    Either way, I wish you every success in achieving your goals.

    Hi Karmastitch ๐Ÿ™‚ Definitely – it’s great to have some motivation on here! I’ve been posting in the Fast800 section – there is a weekly thread and also a positive thought thread that I’m following. There are some very inspirational posts on here ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m hoping the BSD approach will help me to feel healthier – of course I’d love to (and need to) shed a few inches too, but I’m hoping it will especially help with my chronic pain problems by reducing inflammation….which is my main source of motivation – and to perhaps also not scare people if I wear a swimsuit ๐Ÿ˜‰ Look forward to motivating each other! ๐Ÿ™‚

    So how has it been so far EllieAllegra? I need to meal plan – I counted calories yesterday. I am in so much pain with my joints at the moment, this really has been a ‘wake up moment’

    I’m 57 in June, and don’t want to be this way

    Hi Karmastitch – hope you’re doing well. I’ve had a busy couple of days but have been following the plan well so far. I find the Weekly thread in the Fast800 bit helpful – people sharing their positives and their struggles has been helpful….I’m trying to learn by example! I struggled with enough water intake yesterday so have been focusing on that today. I woke up feeling a bit bloated so hoping it will help! I think your focus on doing more meal planning is brilliant – I’ve found it helpful so far and I’ve started next weeks planning already…hopefully it will help! ๐Ÿ™‚
