Day 1 for me and I decided that 2 meals would be the order of the day with 2.5 litres of water plus black decaf (which I always have) and black earl grey tea and fruit tea by mid afternoon I have a niggling headache. My calories for the day 900. (I know that it’s over) Having read through the other pages am I suffering from carb flu, I don’t normally get headaches.. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it?

H1 Jul1a, and WELCOME! What you are descr1b1ng 1s qu1te common, and w1ll pass 1n a few days when your body
clears out the carbs and you sw1tch over to eff1c1ent fat burn1ng. Try a b1t of salt w1th your meals, and a m1ld
analges1c 1f you need 1t. Hang 1n there, 1t w1ll pass, and you w1ll soon be feel1ng great and full of energy. Good Luck!

I found that adding cups of salty broth, miso, bovril, etc to my diet got rid of the headaches.
Keep fluids up but have a broth drink too as it is often the potassium and salts being eliminated that causes them. Broths are high in these.
