Extra lean beef burgers with a sweet potato twist on the usual bun.
• 8 oz lean beef
• 4oz mushrooms - any type
• Half an onion - red or white
• salt and pepper
• sweet potato rounds
Use frylight and gently fry onion and chopped mushrooms until soft - leave to cool and then add beef mince and thyme , salt and pepper and form into patties. Clean the pan and spray lightly with the fry light and cook beefburgers for approximately 10 minutes turning once.
Cut sweet potato into rounds and either cook for 3/4 minutes in the same pan as the burgers or use a toaster.
Use 2 sweet potato rounds instead of a bread roll.
