mince beef – help please

    Hi,
    I understand that this is a low carb high fat diet but please could someone let me know if I should be using 5% fat mince beef products or should I be going for 10% fat??
    I’m still trying to get the hang of things so any help would be appreciated.
    I’m wanting to make the Easy Bolognese from the recipe book and it doesn’t say.

    IMO … I would always go with the 5%. You want protein from meat, not fat; save your fat intake for cheese, eggs, yogurt, olive oil etc. (Having said that, if you are cooking it on the hob, you can strain away the liquids that are released and some of the fat will go with that.) Al
