Hi – one week into the 800 diet and feel great (if a little hungry at times).
Is konjac rice recommended/allowed for this diet? The packaging indicates ultra low carb/sugar and seems great to use in Asian style cuisine.

Hi there actu8, welcome to the site. I have read in Dr Mosleys book that he recommends Konjac rice and noodles. However, I have tried them and they dont taste of anything and are a bit slimy. If you really get into the low carb way of eating you might find your cravings for carbs lasts longer than if you just give them up. Yes you will go through carb flu type symptoms and at first you will struggle to know what to have instead of your usual rice or noodles but you will soon get used to it.
