It is. I am currently 15 minutes in. Within 30 seconds of him coming in, hubby says ‘Did I show you my drum set?’ and then it was ‘Well, I have drums too and mine are…’ Fgs. Mine doesn’t even have a trade I can squeeze freebies out of, Tokyo! Lol.

Hahaha real life is so much more entertaining than soap operas! Plumbers are so hard to find, I’d definitely have kept him onside! My ex tends to take over cooking on Saturday evenings. I’m ashamed to say the stepdaughter actually requests his curry over mine 😱 My OH can’t cook but feels that sharing his beer is a fair trade! Drum kits Lucky? Really? These men are trapped in the psyches of 15 year olds 🙄 Deep breaths…
***BREAKING NEWS*** cookies have been deemed ‘yummy’ in the 10 year old taste test. I’ve just had another one to make sure he’s right. Better stop now Janey; just because they are healthier doesn’t mean they are calories free…
-
They’re currently trying to outdo each other as to whose car has the worst problems, and which are going to be the most expensive to fix. I kid you not. Lord I could do a big glass of red right now. A bottle. Box. Ah great, now we’re starting on how many miles to the gallon their cars get. Kill me. Now.
Glad the cookies were a hit! Go easy! But seriously, kill me. Now.
-
i will take the 10 years old review so please post said cookies ( not literally!!)
off to to cook mince lamb( bit like kebabs me thinks!) with persian spices roasted aubergines and luckys wraps as there are now known in this house ! -
That sounds lovely Tokyo!
-
https://elanaspantry.com/crispy-chocolate-chip-cookies/ There you go Tokyo. I substituted coconut oil for Palm shortening, mainly because I have no idea what it is! I reckon the coconut sugar could be reduced or maybe even removed entirely/replaced with a tiny bit of sweetener.
Your lamb dish sounds lovely. I am hooked on Harrissa paste thanks to the Moroccan chicken recipe in the BSD book and sneak it into several dishes at the mo.
Oh Lucky… Stay calm and think of Tempranillo or Rioja in Mediterranean sunshine. Alternatively, you could stun them both by soap-boxing the benefits of the BSD, weightloss, health benefits blah blah. Altho of course it’s possible your ex may have already been doing it, for twice as long as you, with three times the success! Hahaha. If all else fails, ask him if he knows what a meat knot is 😉
-
Thing is, he’s diabetic, but there would be absolutely zero point in telling him because he’s so hardheaded and knows everything but knows nothing. You’re right, or he’d probably know someone who had tried it and it didn’t work, so he wasn’t trying it. I remember trying to cook for him and there’s no way he could adapt to these sort of recipes. God knows what he’s surviving on to be honest. Not my problem any more. I am not mentioning meat knots. Or it would probably start them off comparing their… meat knots or something, surprised it hasn’t happened yet, there’s time still. He’s going… going… gone. Hurrah 🙂

This recipe is provided by our guest chef Sabrina Ghayour.
Serves 4
Ingredients
Vegetable oil, for frying
1 large onion, finely chopped
500g minced lamb
2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp ground cinnamon
For the yogurt sauce
200g Greek-style yogurt
2 tbsp ground coriander
Juice of 1 lemon
4 tbsp olive oil
Sea salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper
For the harissa oil
1 tsp rose harissa
1 tbsp olive oil
To serve
4 tortilla wraps (or more, if desired), each cut into quarters
½ small packet (about 15g) of fresh coriander, roughly chopped
4 spring onions, thinly sliced
For the cumin-roasted aubergine wedges
3-4 large aubergines, cut into wedges (ensure the skin sides are 5cm wide)
100–150ml olive oil
5 tsp cumin seeds
6 tbsp Greek-style yogurt
4-5 tbsp pomegranate molasses
75g toasted pine nuts
50g pumpkin seeds
½ small packet (about 15g) of fresh coriander, leaves and stems finely chopped
100g pomegranate seeds
Sea salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper
Method
For the loqmeh, spiced lamb kebabs
1. Combine all the ingredients for the yogurt sauce in a small bowl, season to your liking, and mix well.
2. In a very small bowl, dilute the harissa in the olive oil to make the harissa oil. Set aside.
3. To cook the lamb mince, heat a large frying pan over a high heat and drizzle in enough vegetable oil to coat the base of the pan. Fry the onion until golden brown, then add the minced lamb and mix well to break down the meat and combine it with the onion. Add the turmeric, cumin and cinnamon and mix well until the spices evenly coat the meat. Cook for 8–10 minutes until the meat is brown and cooked through, then take the mixture off the heat and set aside.
4. To assemble the kebabs, spoon 1-2 tbsp of the lamb on to each quarter of tortilla, add a dollop of yogurt, a little drizzle of harissa oil, sprinkle over some fresh coriander and spring onion and serve.
For the cumin-roasted aubergine wedges
1. Preheat the oven to 220C, Gas Mark 7. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
2. Using a pastry brush, brush the exposed flesh sides of each aubergine wedge with a good amount of olive oil. Arrange the wedges, skin-sides down, on the prepared baking tray, then sprinkle liberally with the cumin seeds, ensuring some seeds land on the exposed flesh of the wedges.
3. Roast for 45-60 minutes or until the aubergine wedges are golden brown, with dark, burnished edges. Arrange the wedges on a large, flat platter and season well with salt and pepper.
4. Give the yogurt a good seasoning of salt and pepper and dilute it with a little water if it is too thick to drizzle. Drizzle the yogurt over the aubergines, followed by the pomegranate molasses.
5. Sprinkle liberally with the toasted pine nuts and pumpkin seeds, followed by the chopped coriander.
6. Lastly, sprinkle over the pomegranate seeds and serve immediately. If you have leftovers, they are great eaten the next day, served at room temperature.
this tea !!! a lot of faffing at min !!
-
It sounds lovely, but as you say… A bit of a faff! Have you tried the aubergine stuffed with lamb mince in The BSD book? Very similar but less complicated!
-
word to the wise ignore the recipe i just put up!
Luckys wraps brillant the lamb mince lovely the yoghurt sauce pants and the roasted aubergine with a drizzle of pomergranite molasses disgusting !!!! another jar going to the back of the cupboard all that faffing and for basically mince and wraps oh well onto the next recipe !!! -
Hmm, could be an appendix to the Book of Failed Recipes. Try to BSD book one I told you about but don’t worry about pomegranate if you don’t have any lying around! No bread/no potatoes BBQ for me tonight. Can just about deal with that now altho I miss a hotdog 😔
-
I need to buy the coconut ingredients at some point to go with the rest of the ingredients that i will probably never use, Sounds lush tho
-
Oh that’s a shame Tokyo. Looking at the recipe, I’m sure it could be made better next time if you just omit what you don’t like. I think 2 tbsp coriander is a lot for such a small amount of yogurt (the dip) that could have probably stood alone plain, really, or with a bit of garlic in it? And I cannot stand coriander the herb, it makes me feel sick, like eating soap, so that wouldn’t go in anywhere, except for the compost bin 😉
Janey, you could still have a sausage or two. Fnarr.
I had smoked haddock on wilted spinach and it was lovely. Simple, but lovely and slightly odd smelling. A bit like me, really! 😀
Joint of pork loin out for tomorrow, roast dinner, plenty of veggies, no potatoes but I might have a tiny weeny bit of Paxo with it. And I’ve decided that I am going to make these for our Sunday day out, as the children like them, we’d eat one or share one depending, my friend wants one – http://cookeatpaleo.com/blueberry-paleo-muffins-recipe/ I felt a bit sorry for my friend tonight, she has been in SW for the same amount of time as I have been on BSD. And she has lost 7lb. How much have you lost, she asked. I told her she’d clout me. 20lb, I said. I won’t tell you what she called me. It rhymes with itch, though.
-
i love the Aldi version so will continue with it, i could eat it for lunch as well but i don’t
-
Pleased to report that I hit my stone and a half today! Another mini goal marked off the huge list. My next scale goal is to get into the 15 stone bracket, which I will reach in three pounds time! Woop! And so, here endeth week 3 and here beginneth week 4! Best of luck anyone weighing or measuring (or starting!) today 🙂 I’m off to buy some almond flour 😀
-
huge congrats on you weigh in lucky !! how good is that you must be chuffed to bits and in three weeks as well
just imagine what your weight will be in another three weeks on even at the 8 week post !!
i felt your friends pain last night with her 7lb loss was it , its just staggering that people and i was one of them still ” diet” that way
anyway sunshine and showers here at min when is summer coming can someone remind me !!
i am off to find something for tea not sure what having a bit of a wobble today so far not done anything damaging ( no huge bar of chocolate!!) but just not feeling it today !! oh well lets see what i can find for tea who knows what i may discover in the world of low carb !!!! -
Thank you Tokyo 🙂 I am really chuffed, it’s unbelievable really. I felt a bit sorry for my friend, but she was adamant that she needed the structure of a slimming club. I said I used to feel the same but I feel more supported in the forum than I ever did in a class. It’s up to her anyway, you can’t force people, can you?
Just been to H&B to get almond flour, so I’m going to do my veggies for tea and then make my muffins. I’ll let you know how I get on later, and if they look like the picture. Haha. Good luck with finding something to eat, when all else fails – salad 🙂 Dry here so far, just sent hubby out with washing, so that’s rain on it’s way 🙁
-
woo hoo well done, i have reached 12 lbs now hopefully a stone next week. I will start week 4 tomorrow lots of fish i think.
-
i hated slimming clubs and been to them all except for Rosemary’s my friend went and was encouraged to leave a third of her food on her plate. Madness to me.
Does anyone think that i could make chips from courgette if i cover them in Polenta
-
Thanks Josie 🙂 Well done to you too, and yes, give it a big, big push this week! I don’t eat enough fish, but I was surprised last night how much haddock I was able to have for so few calories, and it was filling too. I made those muffins but I made them in silicon cases so they’re a bit bigger than fairy cakes but not as big as a muffin. Don’t look anything like the picture lol. 159 calories each, hubby and I had half each and they have the thumbs up. Going to have one tomorrow in our lunch box and freeze the rest.
-
well i am sat in costa coffee and after walking past every single cake and biscuit i had a pot of tea !!!!! i even had skimmed milk when asked if i wanted that or whole milk smug isnt in it !!! but boy oh boy what i would give for a piece of cake they are calling me i am sure !!!!
i blame my hubby after an argument that started over the bloody weather of all things and included every bloody subject after that !!! i stormed off it wasnt till i got outside the house after a very dramatic slamming of door i realised i left my car keys so i have come into town on the bus !!!!
am avoiding all food ( not ready am sure i would pick something wrong !!) so had my breakfast and will have my tea when i get in !!
so sat alone i costa coffee checking phone but i have one stubborn husband so he wont make the first move !!!!
i knew it was going to be a shit day !!!
i tell you that cake is calling me !!!! -
Resist the cake, Tokyo! It’ll just give your husband ammunition otherwise! If it’s any consolation I am trapped with 2 kids intent on winding each other (and me) up! Had hair done earlier to escape them for an hour. We have a ‘healthy’ picnic before heading to the fair. The cookies are packed!
-
Oh no Tokyo 🙁 How on earth did an argument start over the weather??? Did he predict it wrongly or something??? Yes, resist the cake. I wish I could send you a blueberry muffin to have with your skinny tea. If you need something badly try and grab an apple from somewhere to tide you over. Don’t blow it!! xo
Ooooh new ‘do Janey or just a trim? My hair was nearly down to the bottom of my back in May, and I had it all cut off to an inverted bob. Best thing I’ve done in years, I looked like Neil from The Young Ones. Have fun at the fair!
Hubby helped me do the veg and I’ve lifted everything we need for tomorrow out of the freezer. I made some of that yogurty fruity bark thing too. Didn’t put coconut in it or sweetener, just vanilla. And raspberries. Looks good. Nearly frozen. Result.
-
i resisted everything other than a bottle of water!!!
on my way home now and i have no idea how it started bloody men he will be sat at home in the dry watching tour de france !!!
let us know how the frozern yoghurt was i bought some coconut sugat no idea whu i am putting it with my other useful/useless items !!! -
Currently sheltering from a passing shower in the food tent. And what a find! RAW honey! Yes, yes I know we are supposed to avoid all sugar type stuff BUT in recipes this is better than sugar! Also sampled local cheeses as that’s allowed 😉 No lager or donuts for me tho!
-
Oh and hair.. Just a tidy up and thin out as gets very think. Obviously a total waste of money as its now getting blown and rained on 😡
-
Boo hiss about the donuts. I just spotted these in an email I just received, thought they looked quite tasty
http://paleogrubs.com/paleo-zucchini-fritters
And they use almond flour too, if you now have a surplus!
-
I now appear to be subscribed to paleogrub and have earned a free pot of coconut oil, although I may have to go to the US to get it!! I seem to be using my almond flour but not the coconut so need to find some recipes for that instead. I have found that almond flour has a canny knack of sticking to everything in the dishwasher too 🙄
Wasn’t fussed about missing out on donuts although a cider on a sunny afternoon would’ve gone down well. Tomorrow we are in London with the associated dinner in Chinatown and I’m not going to beat myself up if I stray a little as it is actually my last day of the 8 week slim down! Obviously I have no plans to go back to the bad old ways but one meal won’t set me back. Although let’s see if it plays havoc with my digestive system…. The cats are currently enjoying the discarded Fage so I may have piles of Greek vomit greeting me in the morning…
Have you made up with the hubby yet Tokyo?
-
Janey? Are you thinking what I’m thinking? You, me, Tokyo – ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAD TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
I actually snorted Diet Coke out of my nostrils when I read the words ‘Greek vomit’. Thanks. Thanks for that. It stings.
Have a lovely time in London, and enjoy your Chinese, you deserve it for completing the 8 weeks! Here’s to the next. You’re not buggering off and leaving me here, are you, now that you’ve nearly graduated BSD Academy????
-
Hahaha, pop flowing through nostrils is never pleasant! This isn’t a road trip in the Thelma and Louise sense where we shoot someone and then drive off a cliff is it? Because I’ve just had new tyres and windscreen on my car….
Of course I’m not going anywhere! We have work to do to enlighten people on the BSD and also to complete our ‘BSD Failures’ cookbook! Plus, I still have weight to lose and smaller clothes in my wardrobe to get into….
-
It’s ok, I have Autoglass included with my car insurance, and roadside repair if I’m a passenger in your car 🙂 Wasn’t planning on killing anyone but if they eat cake or pizza in front of me, who knows what could happen?
Speaking of not killing anyone, are you in Police custody yet, Tokyo?
I don’t think the cookbook will ever be finished. It’s going to be one of these that we release a new volume every fortnight. Although I have my successful blueberry muffins now too 😀 Very cakey indeed only a smidge of butter in, and honey was the sweetener. I was going to share them out with the children too but seeing as the flour cost my husband £15 today, I think I’d better save them for us. I thought he was going to have a coronary. I was telling him to breathe. The shop assistant was smirking. I bet she sees that so many times a day…
-
good evening ladies !!
my hubsband and i are still at the not quite speaking stage although we were very polite through tea and the weather was never mentioned!!!!!!!
well i figured if i was going to crack today would have been the day i mean sat in costa coffee on my own i could have ate numerous cakes !!!! but i didnt i thought keep going although i did look at all the healthy cookbooks in waterstones even fearne cottons theres hundreds !!!! gwyneth paltrow nigella the helmsley sisters all looking smug at me so that may also have helped in avoiding CAKE !!!!
how much have you lost in your 8 weeks janey ? how well have you done to get to the 8 week line when i started it felt like forever!!!
i was in holland and barrett not somewhere i go in very often but how expensive !!!!! the staff are way too helpful !!!!
a road trip imagine us three size ….. in our best thelma and louise and ( we need a third name !!!!) outfits ready to hit the town and cause quite abit of chaos !!!! -
Thelma, Louise and Brenda!! Can I be Louise because she got her hands on Brad Pitt?! Although obviously had previously almost come a cropper over the bonnet of a car. Can you tell this is one of my all time favourite films?!
I’m quite amazed how quickly the 8 weeks have gone, although the first couple of weeks dragged. And of course more recently I’ve had this hilarious ‘support’ thread to keep me going. Weight wise, no idea what I’ve lost as I am firmly anti scales (look what Lucky did to hers!). But at the start my size 16 clothes were extremely tight and now I am comfortably in size 14, which are feeling looser as the days go on. Realistically I don’t think I’ll ever be a size 12, but never say never! For me, kicking the carb addiction and feeling better physically is as important as getting into those jeans. All I need are my legs back from Claudia Schiffer and I’ll be happy. 29 years she’s had ’em, the cow 😡
Ugh, Paltrow cookbooks. That’ll be all sprouting rubbish and dust. Or kale smoothies (yack).
-
will take brenda as last one and all that !!!!!
good on you for ignoring the scales i hate mine although they are still in one piece !!!! for now
i always said if i was 5ft 7 instead of 5 ft 2 i would be the perfect weight its my height thats all wrong but maybe cindy crawford took my legs perhaps its a conspiracy these long leggy models like taking little ladies legs ( say that fast !!!) -
You’ll have to bear with me I’m on my iPad and it autocorrects at will. Well done on resisting cake and goodies Tokyo, and on being polite to hubby. Bloody hell, Waterstones, that’s like the Holland and Barrett of bookshops. We went in our first one a few months ago, cracking selection I admit, but hubby’s reaction was similar if not worse than H&B, he was just walking around muttering ‘How much!’ And left without the autobiography he’s been hankering after for months.
You can be Louise, Janey. Pfffffft #teamjen. My carb flu has gone, as has hubby’s, so I’m happy now. It’s gone so quickly for me. Don’t get me started on Paltrow. I did a mock blog post after she suggested women steam cleaned their foo foos. Cue hubby holding all in one steamer and pictures of my toes curling… She makes me cringe. You don’t marry Chris Martin and divorce him. I would leave my husband for him. He knows this.
I’ve just made two lunch boxes of chicken tikka salad, two little pots of yogurt with berries and nuts, we have our muffin, plenty of water and I may put an emergency apple in. There’s a barbecue at the ground 😐 I can resist… I can resist…
-
Steam cleaned their…?! Like with a Kärcher? I’ve got a floor steamer but I’m
Not sure I’m willing to sacrifice one of those expensive cloths for that?! Isn’t showering enough?! No wonder Chris Martin went back to bacon sarnies when she moved her mung beans out.. You can have him though Lucky, he’s too gaunt for my liking. Tom Hardy though.. I’ve got a hall pass for him 😉Your ‘pack-up’ sounds lovely. You can resist the BBQ! I’ve had one Willie tonight. Well, it IS Saturday night 😆
-
early night for me so both have lovely days tomorrow !!
god knows what i will be dreaming about after reading the last two posts!!!!! -
I don’t think her procedure went like that, it rarely does for multi millionaires, but it was all I had to hand… He is a bit scrawny but oh… I could fatten him up with… with… Oh crap, I’m all bloody Paltrowed myself now aren’t I? Kale crisp, Chris? Chickpea wrap? Fage?? I think I can resist, I resisted the fries last week. I’ll have to smuggle my apple in somewhere… 😂 🍔 😞
Do I need Willies in my life or are they meh?
-
Night night Tokyo, I’ll catch you tomorrow night as we have an early start 😊 Sweet dreams x
-
Night Tokyo, tomorrow is a new day and hubby strife will be forgotten.
Willies are nice but I wouldn’t necessarily feel the need to buy them again. A heroin bar of G&B is a 50th of the price and just as good. Goodness knows what the site admin must make of some of these posts??!!
Anyway, night all… Off to London Town in the morning!
-
having just read the last post I had to read back for the context lol. You guys do make me giggle!
Did Gwyneth Paltrow really suggest steam cleaning?! I pay little attention to media or celebrity chit chat…
No one is getting near mine with a steamer…
-
Hi Izzy 😊 Just back from a lovely day out in the sunshine and I resisted everything, yay me.
It’s true. I don’t follow celeb culture but I got wind of this one… http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/gwyneth-paltrow-scorned-for-suggesting-women-steam-clean-their-vaginas-10012004.html
I will open any email that has the words ‘Gwyneth’ and ‘scorn/scorned’ in the same sentence. On principle 😉
And I’m another pound down! Day 1 of week 4 and 22lbs lighter!! Woop!
-
well done for resisting the days temptations, and wow on the weightloss! Mine is much slower I’ve lost around the same as you but over a much longer time. I don’t mind though as I like the food and I’m enjoying myself 🙂 and so long as it keeps coming off I don’t really care if it takes a while now.
Out of all the email I get I reckon I actually read about 5% of them lol
-
All I’m saying to that Paltrow thread is OMG 😳 That woman is a lunatic. Talk about ‘ disrupting flora’. Anyway I am in a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown after a lovely day. Have just tried to limit damage by having a very small amount rice instead of hoovering it all up! I think my stomach may pay me back for this!
Back on the straight and narrow tomorrow…
-
Thanks Izzy, I’m shocked at how quick it’s coming off tbh but I’ll take it gladly!! It will slow down no doubt so I’m looking at this as my head start for those weeks I’m going to be pulling my hair out. I’m enjoying it too, hubby and I were just discussing what we’d do ‘after’ and I said I couldn’t see me going back to eating all those carbs again. I’ve got a long way to go anyway before I’m anywhere near done but I feel much healthier than I have in ages. I’m sleeping better, waking nice and early, not falling asleep in the day (now carb flu has passed!). Just to think 3 weeks ago I was heading for 18 stone, today I’m 2lbs off being 15 stone something. Madness. But not as mad as…
…correct Janey. Definitely a chickpea wrap short of a low carb picnic, that one. Enjoy your treat, I would! Chinese hall pass today, back to the old routine tomorrow. Simples. Have a prawn ball for me… 😁
-
Lucky it’s something everyone needs to realise that two of us can stand side by side and eat exactly the same and one person will lose more than the other. No point being annoyed by it we need to accept we are all different and my body simply does it slower but that’s ok, it means I will be here cheering everyone on and that in itself is great fun! You are right it might slow a bit but many people here still lose steadily even after months on the plan! There will definitely be a week eventually where you don’t lose for one or two weeks it seems to happen to everyone, but starts again soon enough! keep measuring to check for the inches coming off on those weeks – our bodies are strange things!
As for the chinese Janey you enjoy it! We sometimes still have an indian takeaway here, I choose a chicken main and accept there will be carbs in the sauce and skip the rice and naan completely. Compromise 🙂
-
good evening ladies !!
well done lucky on resisting the temptations( i am sure they were a motown band so could sound a bit oh er mrs)!! and well done on more weight loss you go girl( as gwyneth would say in her amercan accent)!!!
janey i hope you enjoyed every mouthful of your chinese and hope you stomach does too!!!
peace regained here in this household i mean fancy arguing about the weather!!!!
i am just trying to find how to make a mousaka without a white sauce with flour in ( i may just deconnsruct it – isnt that what all the top chefs say !!)
how was the ” frozern bark” lucky ? -
Hello tokyo14
When i make a veg lasagne i use some greek yogurt mixed with some creme fraiche its fine -
Well said Izzy, we’re all different, and to be honest, it makes a nice change for me to be one of the ones where the weight is falling off – it has never been that way in the past! I was the one with the half a pound, stay the same, pound on, two off results, no matter how hard I tried. Literally two steps forward, three back. And then putting it all back on and more!
Tokyo! Sorry I didn’t get back to you last night, we flaked out early after all the fresh air and walking we did yesterday! I haven’t tried the bark yet, it’s frozen solid. I didn’t heed the 3 hours in the recipe so I’ll have to take it out, let it soften and break it up. I was like trying to break brick with a knitted knife 🙂 Yes, I was verra verra good yesterday, pleased with myself, especially when I saw the hospitality on offer there. Huge Sunday dinners but they wouldn’t have been so huge once the massive (and I mean massive) yorkshire pud, potatoes and roasties were taken off, so it was a good call taking a salad box. At the car boot sale, I could see this crowd around this woman in a van and she was selling trays of her fresh eggs, 20 a tray, free range, and sign said that most were double-yolkers. She was selling loads and you could hear people saying they were back for more after buying them in the weeks before, so I picked up two trays. When I got home I compared them to my Aldi free rangers lol. They’re like bloody dinosaur eggs! Never in my life have I seen eggs that big, and I used to sell free range farm eggs in my shop. Hubby said he wouldn’t like to be the chicken that laid that! I could probably make an omelette for two of us out of one egg! Off out with the in laws again today, they’re staying in a caravan about 30 miles from us, and I have to say I’m not prepared at all for today. If the worst comes to the worst and we eat out anywhere I’ll have a salad. I was just so tired last night that I didn’t plan ahead. I just hope they don’t want me to feed them tonight, because they will be on freezer gravel, I tell you haha. Or omelette…
-
morning
I do love a good egg!! good luck on your day out i hope you find something to eat its difficult isnt it ? , i have a day out tomorrow shopping with my mum and she wants to have lunch out but where and what shall be a real test then as like you not saying anything to anyone so not going to make a fuss about it and then on weds meeting a friend for brunch she wanted to meet in a ” valerie pattisserie ” shop wall to wall cakes but managed to suggest a ” bills” place as they do eggs and bacon so will stick to that !!
i have had a bit if a pre weigh this morning before thursday but no change so shall just keep going figure maybe this might be my plateau week i was so good all weekend too but went under 800 by quite a bit sat and sun so figure may have eaten not enough
so on the mousaka front i am making it with a white sauce with 2 tablespoons of flour theres only that high carb in it and i am only having a small piece not like my usually plate full !!!!! and guess what gardening again so will be busy all day !!!!!! ( i am going in for britains tidiest garden !!!!!) its another bloody hedge to cut so i must remember dont cut the power cable instead of the tree !!!!!
