Tokyo – report him. I’ve done that before now. Just need the bus time and the number. Phone the office.

Janey, I’m keeping the slippers of despair on. Know how many steps I’ve done today? *shamefaced* 831. Eps, don’t shout at me 🙁 I’ve been wallowing in a pit of boredom, anger, laziness, you name it, I’m wallowing in it today. Also a little bit of ‘if nobody else can be bothered, why should I’. I’m going to shut up now because I am on a right downer. 831. That’s disgraceful. It’s no wonder I’m fat.

Well done for deducting the money from your bill! That’s ace lol.

Oooh what have you covered them with Eps?

noooo lucky!! It’s no wonder you’re well on your way to healthy you mean, because you have determination and grit! Jes, if you feel despondent and disheartened you should treat yourself to something nice for yourself! You’re right, nobody else will do that for you so you have to mind yourself. A lovely bath or a lovely evening stroll on your own or a great book or a funny film! Close door and enjoy it. I’d come collect you if we were near enough!!! Not ever day needs to be a marathon of steps tho, and maybe today won’t be but that does t mean tomorrow won’t be! Have to say, nothing like exercise on my own with no body wrecking my head is best way out of feeling bad (for me). But maybe you just need some chilling out time for yourself without looking after other people. You’re fab tho so not bashing oneself, even in jest! 👏👏👏👏😘😘😘✅✅✅✅✅

i live on so many berries these days i’m growing a beak and wings..much as i enjoy atmospheric autumn, there wont be a ton of juicy strawbs, luscious raspberries etc in the shops…
Thank goodness,i guess theres plenty of berries in the freezer section 🙂
Ps Its weird…a small apple and a peach are now just a once weekly treat! X 😋😋😋

Awwwwww thanks guys (gals!) I’m ok, I won’t give up now, just having a crap day. Which came as a bit of a surprise because I woke up in an ok mood, especially after my weight loss. I’ll take your advice Eps and go for a candlelit bath, take my iPod. Might even use one of the expensive bath bombs I had for my 40th! It’s the only place I’ll get any peace. Have an early night. Going to write today off as a no exercise day. I know I’ll be on the go tomorrow, have to go and get some shopping for camping and ding meals and pizzas to leave behind for the boy or he’ll probably burn the house down. I’m still tired after my stupid neighbour keeping me up, it has a knock on effect for days, and so I’m getting wound up at the littlest thing. Including hubby, who doesn’t deserve it. The car thing isn’t really his fault, the old one was dead, we had a limited budget, it was a bargain, we needed it, and it’s saving us a fortune in cheaper insurance, tax and fuel costs. Over £500 a year on tax and insurance and breakdown alone. He’s naturally worried about doing something he’s never done before, which I would be too. But he’s not a quitter and he’ll ace it. Thank God he’s not on this forum lol.

I know Yowzer, what are our choices in the winter?? I find frozen berries very sour? Apples have really surprised me. I don’t like them much, never have. But you’d think they’d be really good on something like this? And now I know they’re not, I fancy one now and again lol. I’d kill for a peach! Been eyeing up those flat doughnut peaches, I love those… I suppose that in itself is an improvement, eyeing up fruit? Ah well…

I presume we are all supposed to concoct disturbing quinoa or other some such grain porridge or Bircher in winter. Eggs and mushrooms may win through in that case!

Finally home after our epic journey. House is quiet as we are now child free for 2 weeks. *sniff* missing the rugrat already…

Morning ladies, sorry, I was so relaxed I fell asleep last night! 🙂 Bathing is the future! (My husband WILL be pleased 😉 )

Poster girls????? You hear that, Janey??? Although, to be fair – with the size of my head, it’d have to be one of those massive posters they put on sides of buildings in City centres…

Sadly, I can’t crochet, Janey. But what I can do to make it seem worse, is knit you a dolly toilet roll holder, and a tea cosy (and egg warmer!) to match your knitted blanket of mardiness??

Well, you’ll be pleased to hear that I’m not going to be whinging today! Lucky has woken up with her big girls knickers on (and – unfortunately, then had to put her actual big knickers on) and is getting on with it. Another 0.1 kg off, which was a surprise considering a dying slug probably covered more ground than I did, yesterday. Just sat with my first coffee of the day, enjoying the silence.

Here’s to (hopefully!) a good day for everyone! Let me know if you had your cheeky mid-weeker, Tokyo!

now as the sat nav says ” recalculating”!!
two next goals first one to loose 5 kg more !! and the next is i have a pair of jeans i used to wear i want to get into these jeans comfortably ( emphasis on the comfortably !!!!!! ) i shall be having a try on on of various outfits later to gauge where i am on the clothes fitting scale and when my next cinderella moment may arrive !!!

Here’s to the next 5 kg, and may it provide more laughs and fewer disasters than the first 6.5 did lol. You could be closer to it again by Thursday/Friday! Your blanket of mardiness is folded up on the chair, I don’t need it today 😉

very pleased going back to thursday weigh ins so may only loose a bit more this week but thats ok i have lost a stone !! which at the start of this i never thought i would !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont know why but 5 kg doesnt sound that much really !!!! i have 2 and a bit weeks to hols so if i could just loose have of that before then that would be great !!!

Haha, I’ve made a little progress on mine. Managed to pull them up (eventually) and they have ‘the triangle’ shape where both sides of the front veer off in a diagonal away from each other. I’d imagine I’ve got another stone if not more before I can pull them together and zip them up lol. Oh well, I love a challenge 😉

Am wearing a band T shirt today that is actually now a baggy XXL, as opposed to fitting me like a glove (sticks out in five places) which it was when I bought it. So that’s another plus. I’ve been seeing it more on my bottoms than my tops up to now.

He s funny, within 10 minutes he had worked out he wouldn’t be wasting his calories on stuff like pomegranate 😹😹😹😹 (I made the jeweled pepper things from the book because I remember thinking they were tasty at the beginning, never did again though – too much chopping😂)

Morning Eps, hope you’re ok today 🙂 There you go, that’s your 20K steps from the other day showing now, it doesn’t always happen for our official weigh day does it?

Hahaha that’s priceless, wasting calories on pomegranate. Haven’t had one for years, but I believe you can buy the ‘jewels’ now in bags? My dad used to love them and we’d sit eating them with a sewing needle to get the fruit out. Acceptable in the 80’s. It is a lot easier when you’re not having to cook two meals and watch them eat things you might want yourself.

Need to go into town soon, just having a coffee . Hubby is in smug mode this morning as he’s 0.6 kg down on yesterday too.

Morning, Tokyo how are the jeans of the future fitting?? I haven’t dared even get my own pair of JOTF out but maybe I should?? I think they are a 12 masquerading as a 14 so unlikely to ever get into them without the aid of warm spoons and some butter however…

Lucky – add JOTF to your list!

When I put my (formerly fat ladybird) trousers on this morning they seemed bizarrely loose.. maybe hanging out in Paltrow-land (aka Brighton) has magically made me thinner? Well, that and not having much to eat thanks to late night restaurant closures and over-full OH not wanting a proper meal at any point yesterday! Either way, I’m taking it as a win 🙂
