Dear all, I am new to this. I have been eating 800 calories for a week now, however, I am unsure what to cut out. What is a definite no-no and what should be avoided.

I have a banana every day with milk and ice cubes for breakfast. Is this ok? This is the only fruit I am eating on the diet.

I am avoiding all bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, crisps, sweets and cakes etc.

Mainly eating protein, soups and veg and bananas. Is it okay to have a banana every day?

Also from a liquids perspective I have Robinsons no sugar lemon squash instead of straight water, is this ok?

    Thanks,
    S.

Hi looks like I am following you round, sorry!

Bananas not the best, berries are better. Milk is not great either. This is in terms of carbs for both of them. You can have more of something else for the same calorie and carb count. So, for example, a berry and full fat yoghurt mix would be less carbs than your current choice.

Timeforchange, just as a basis of comparison, a banana has
24 net carbs, and 6-8 raspberries has @4…. You can also
reduce the considerable carb count in skim milk by replacing
it with unsweetened almond or other nut milks. Hope this
    helps!
