Was sick of looking up the recipes from the book, was going to type it and thought i would do it here.

Ingredients

• 200mls Water
• 1 green teabag
• 50g blueberries
• 2 tbsp greek yoghurt
• 1 tbsp almonds
• 1 tbsp flaxseeds

Method

Bring water to the boil and add the teabag and allow to steep for 4 mins. Remove the teabag and chill the tea in the fridge(preferably overnight). Pour into a blender with the other ingredients and whizz together.

Not a huge fan of this, perhaps the blueberries were bland. It was Ok though.

Hi thought this recipe was ok. But – am using myfitnesspal to log my calories, and when I logged all the ingredients it totalled 283! I may have got some quantities a bit wrong, but not that wrong😉
It must have to be low fat Greek yoghurt, but you’d have to read ingredients carefully to make sure starch/carbs haven’t been added to replace the fat.

I love this, I have it for breakfast, and also take it to work for a quick lunch in one of those plastic sistema cups for ease of transporting. If you make it overnight you will see how the linseeds and almonds thicken the shake and keep you full.

I disagree with the 100 calories. I put all of the individual ingredients into my calorie counter and I come up with around 240calories (using full-fat yoghurt). I’m not a great fan of the taste as I found it bitter. It might just be that I am in the early days of the diet and I’ve not lost my sweet tooth yet …?

Made this for my very first breakfast on Day One and I must say I loved it . However I agree that the calorie count in the book seemed low and my version came to around 200 calories too . I think this may have something to do with the term ‘tablespoon’ . If you use a real tablespoon ( and not an actual cook’s measure ) should it be heaped / flat or what ? Too vague .
Anyone know what the carb value is ?
Word of warning – Whilst exclaiming to my son how delicious it was I managed to ‘inhale’ a flax seed and nearly choked myself to death !!
Also – I used ice cubes in my blender to make up the green tea to 200ml and it gave it a lovely icy thickness. Think it helped.

I really disliked it. Grainy and unappetising. Most of it went down the sink
