BELT (Bacon Egg Lettuce Tomato)

For the lover of a BLT and you won’t even miss the bread

Ingredients

• 3 slices lean ham
• 1 Egg
• 3 Coz Lettuce Leaves
• 2 slices tomato or cherry tomatoes
• 3 tsp sour cream

Method

Boil Eggs and place in fridge to cool
Cut ham into small pieces and fry
Lay lettuce leaves
Drizzle sour cream along lettuce
Layer sliced egg along
Sprinkle fried ham over top

    Was excited to see this but disappointed that you used ham instead of bacon – HLT. Was there any reason for this? It looks delicious!

    One of my all time favorite lunches…good protein…filling and helps me get through the afternoon…

    Oh sorry tdobien, we used lean ham as it is lower in calories than bacon and we don’t always have tomato! Yes Sue, it is very filling and it’s our go to lunch as we always have the ingredients!
